You get 17mpg freeway with the s/c and cage weight etc... I get 17.6 freeway without s/c and not that much weight...:annoyed::frusty:

I never use brakes going down steeps in 4lo 1st gear. In fact I have to use gas sometimes.

First up was a 1" body lift from 4Crawler.com, cost about 100$ and was a fairly simple install besides one stuck bed bolt I had to drill and tap, and the steering extension was extremely hard to work with. Im planning on going on 33's soon so I wanted that extra inch of clearance. Really like the outcome:

Then since I couldn't stand the gap between my Arb and the body and always thought the Arb mounting was a little under Par I drilled out new holes one inch up with 7/16 Grade 8 Hardware, sits much nicer now:

Then took the opportunity to install my new Smittybilt 9500 winch my fiancé got me for graduation, this was not nearly as easy as i thought since the winch motor wouldn't clear the inside mounts and the clutch handle hit as well. I had to make some spacers and its still no easy task to change directions. I spooled it up with some Master Pull 3/8 synthetic line I had from my last winch I thought would use and installed a factor 55 Pro-Link. Really like it so far.

Line-X, LED Gauges, Bluetooth Stereo, TracRac, OME 2.5 Lift, Relentless Fab rear bumper, Shrockworks front. Bleh. So much good stuff.
All pro sliders went on today. So far they are just bolted on but I will be welding them on tomorrow. I don't trust the self tapping bolts they came with as the frame on the Tacoma is kinda thin. I'm happy with how they look though!

Sucked out the old power steering fluid (atf) this weekend and replaced with new atf. It actually looked good for a 15yr old truck. I wasn't ambitious enough to do the full exchange, maybe next time. I sucked out about 7oz.

Found a Leer 100r on CraigsList and mounted it to the truck today. Overall in decent condition, need to re-screen the side windows and probably replace the T-handle locks. Also need to figure out what to cover the bed with. Bed rug doesn't offer a solution for the 02 doublecab - only the 6' bed.
