Don't tempt me. My buddy who's milling out my lower is bugging the shit out of me to buy the rest of the parts NOW so we can just assemble one on the spot lol

 

i need my stock and buffer kit then i can assemble the lower. Ill wait to assemble until i have those pieces. My upper comes tomorrow.

 

There's a Unit at Travis AFB. Don't know which. I'm pretty sure there's an Air National Guard unit there, as well.

 

What the hell is an Oscar identifier? And I know when I was getting out off AD the nearest Infantry unit up North was Auburn.

Also if you guys need help with your AR's let me know.

Cub scouts are alive and well! As I'm out back lighting the charcoal, I can hear the neighbor talking about the flag and when to retire it, fly at half staff, etc. Good times when brother and I were kids.

Who's your recruiter, or what station? I find it odd there aren't any 11 openings, especially 11C. See if he can reach out to SGT Spragg, John. He was in my platoon years back before he went to Recruiting, he has an in with the 184 guys. One of my E4s just finished mortar reclass school cause our BN was short. You'll find two infantry units in CA, both in the 79th IBCT. 1-184 is Northern CA and 1-160th is Southern CA. There's a Company in Dublin, B Co, thats who Alex (Sytfu) is with. I'm with C Co up in Auburn (Foothills of Tahoe). A Co is in Visalia, D Co in Oakdale and HHC is based out of Modesto. I would have him contact HHC and look harder. We've got a deployment coming up next year that I'm sure some guys will skate out of, I'm sure they'll look to pick you up. We have a LOT of Prior service in the BN/BDE.

 

BWW is right down the street! I'm in Concord as well. Hope your beer drinking skills are up to par, you're gunna need it!

Yeah I almost went to Auburn to finish out my obligation, but only had a year and a half of IAR after AD. So I said fuck it and just got out, didn't want to have to mess with driving 3-4 hours just for drill.

 

Never been to the one in Concord, but a buddy and I usually go to the one in Fairfield about once a month and catch whatever good movie is on since they're right next to each other #brodate
