    Why is the force assumed at the center of the wheel when in reality it is applied at the interface?

    So you are saying regardless of spacer or not, total BS is the overall contributing factor to bearing stress, correct? I mean it's what makes the most sense to me. That's why I am hoping to get some Ray 10's with a 4" BS and run 1.25" spacer and keep me at 2.75" BS. Rather rock that then 2.5" BS like I was before with the 2" spacers or 2.25" BS I would have with F-5's and spacers.

    Yes, and I have 1.25" spacers for sale haha.

    With a 6.5" back space the wheel takes almost all the moment off the bearing, then it gets worse as you decrease bs

    Haha I have a set of 1.25" that's what's on the truck now. I pulled my 2" off when I did my rear wheel bearing.

    As of May 1, 2016, there is no more tailpipe sniffing in NJ. Anything older than 1996 is exempt from inspections.

    The exemption that interested me the most was this one: "Gasoline powered vehicles registered passenger, model year 2007 & older with a GVWR 8,501 to 14,000 pounds."

    I have all my emissions stuff intact but the charcoal canister isn't playing nice with the fuel cell, so I've been having CELs show up about once a week and thus haven't been able to get the truck inspected. Since this change went into effect, I was able to change my registration GVWR to 8,501 and I'm now 100% compliant and legal. Go figure.

    Hey guys thought I'd introduce myself as I'm a long time lurker but not a big poster. Grew up in Jersey then moved to Mass for a while but just moved back to NJ in January. Have an 05 dc or with basic mods. Wheel it every other weekend somewhere. I have probably met and seen some of you at various places (mostly rausch). All this talk of bikes got me excited since its my first love (although all my money has been going to truck parts as of late). Sooo heres the bike...
    and i guess the truck and my buddy with a new to him mica at the pine barrens i believe....
    subscribed to this thread and hoping to meet some of you on the trail and help out anyone in need of work on there truck! Cause I'm sure ill need help from someone sooner or later...
