I added this handy hitch rack to my truck and the dogs love it. I put a big cushion down and they can hop right up..was gonna put wood down but use it for camping, coolers, and taking out trash when I'm not hauling the pooches around:thumbsup:

Which rack is that? That is nifty. Helps so the dogs don't have to leap up so high into the truck bed.

Wow this looks amazing. I've always thought this is how it works with dogs and I've always felt that somehow one of my dogs has always found his way back to me. None of my others have yet, but my boy Jack definitely came back to me.

But like every dog movie, you know you are going to ball like a baby at some point in time.

    Thanks for sharing this.

yeah, my daughter, who loves dogs more than people, won't watch any movie with a dog on the poster, she says the dog always dies, and she cries her heart out. note, she's 21 :D

It's rough, but for yourself and your adorable little pup, live in the now, not for what may come some tomorrow down the road. Wishing you both a very enjoyable vacation.

    Brand new so nothing yet.
So we are trying to figure out what to do. Last Saturday we almost hit a dog on the road. We were able to stop and catch her. She is a sweet heart. We went door to door and could not find anyone, so we called animal control and they took her to the local shelter and she was claimed by her owner.

Tonight I was making dinner and the phone rang. It was one of the people I met last Saturday. Someone almost hit the dog again and ended up doing the same thing we did. So she took her and called me. I went and picked her up. The shelter is closed for the weekend and the animal control guy can't really help us out much. Since we were going to try and adopt her if no one claimed her, we took her in.

I'm kind of afraid to bring her back to the shelter because if the owners take her again she may end up dead on the road. She is a little skinny and her nails are long but she seams like she is healthy overall.

So I'm just seeing what any of you would do. Thanks

Keep it. Just my opinion. Other owners have proven unreliable for what ever reason. I could be morally wrong though.
