I completely understand. Not all my rifles have/had high dollar sights. My fun guns have all have rds/scopes under $150 or were usually purchased used .
The PA micro worked flawless for me. I had zero issues with it and would buy it again.

Decent bipods that don't cost an arm and a leg for my 300 BO? And go!

Define "an arm and a leg". Harris makes good bipods that wont break the bank (around 80-120 depending on model). I have two and they are solid. Ive also used a cheaper like 30 buck Champion brand (i think) Chinese knockoff of the Harris and it was ok. Not as good as the Harris though.

Now if you want to spend money Atlas would get my next vote. They are around 200+ bucks though.

$200 plus is an arm and a leg haha but I have heard good things about atlas can't justify spending it though. I'll look into the Harris' though

It's a 300BO, no need for an expensive bipod. A Champion or similar Harris knockoff will get the job done.

Actually forgot I had one of those too. A UTG atlas style clone. Its ok.

One nice thing on bipods is you can swap them around to your heart content. So its worth buying a bit nicer one IMO since itll work on every gun. I have two Harris ones I use. One has a Leupold picatinny rail QD which makes swapping it on AR's nice and fast. My other i use on the swivel studs.

My .308 had a fairly nice bipod (not sure on brand but it's pretty well built) but it's my only gun with a "fancy" bipod because it's a pretty heavy rifle.
All my other rifles have cheap bipods and they work fine.

Been collecting 20 round mags, from my research the colt .223 marked ones are early Vietnam era AF issue.

My holosun works pretty decent ... Granted I haven't used it much but I like the 50k battery life

Not that I go running around in monsoons with my firearms, but when shooting outdoors in the SE in the summertime, it's quite probable you get caught in a rain storm

Water resistant at a minimum is a must have for me personally just because of that
