I called Mike Stewart you might wanna ask him again what you ordered. He quoted me $38xxx for the same truck with premium and tech package, towing package . And i told him you sent me and was informed that you ordered WITHOUT the premium and tech package since you want the truck to be at $35k range. Please correct me if im wrong about the premium and tech package.

I was willing to pay for deposit when i called him with same package as you.

Mine was 500 dollars under invoice pricing plus 149 doc fee. The trade in was fair. Trade in and price was better then any other dealer that I went to.

What makes you say that? I ordered a 17 trdor at $500 over invoice from them. Should be picking up next week. Everything has been great so far. Won't be surprised if they try to pull some shit when it comes down to signing papers but if they do I'll just walk.

That is exactly what they did to me. I was in the finance office for 3 hours trying to get the paperwork straight. The finance guy finally told me to go ahead and leave..they would mail me the paper work. It took a few days to get my paper work and the deal was completely different. I was already back in Florida with their truck and refused to sign anything. They did this 3 more times and the deal still wasn't right. The GM threatened to come "repo" the truck from me but I kindly reminded him that it was impossible to repo something I don't own. I told the guy "If you can't get your shit together, you better fly someone down to come pick this thing up". Finally TFS honored what the dealer and I agreed on but this was a 30 day process.

Interesting. I'll give them a call before I drive up and discuss it further. If they play games I'm just gonna walk. Did you trade something in? You finance through the dealership?

No trade. I went through Toyota Financial because they were supposed to be offering this great rate. That's how the whole mess started. I will admit, I am a lot more educated now than I was when I made that deal.

Hm well that's good news for me. I don't intend to finance through them so hopefully they don't try to pull some shit. Thanks for sharing your experience with them

i love to walk, then go back in the truck i bought from another dealer, i even made them a copy of the deal, to show them a dealer will sell the truck for the price i wanted. I found a good it works good for me. I talked to two local dealers about 250 over invoice on a tacoma, 1st said i will have to get the owner to make that decision, the preferred dealer, i am going with, said ok. we will do that. Like @Doggman said, sometimes, when they pull out the paperwork, the try to add fees or make changes, that will cause me to walk.
