Appears this is true after calling. I definitely don't want to void warranty. Finally changed the oil. Guess I'll pick up the 3qts of official AT fluid tomorrow from the dealership. Do you think I'm ok to turn the truck on to check oil levels when they're warm with no AT fluid? Not going to put it in gear obviously.

No reason to. Start the engine, let it run at idle for 10-15 seconds, shut it down, wait 5-10 minutes and check the level. Do this on as level a ground as possible. Engine oil is checked cold, transmission fluid is checked hot.

Got it. Muscled my truck into the garage where it's now resting dormant thirsty for AT fluid. Wish it had a top side cap instead of the ridiculously placed screw underside.

Again guys, thank you very much for the help. Still freakin kicking myself over this.

Live and learn, at least it was a relatively cheap lesson. You know how the saying goes, shit happens.

Got started cleaning the interior, seats are still drying. Not perfect but for a 20 year old truck I think it looks good:

    Before:

    After:

Finally got my side rails clamped to the Arb after sweet talking ARB Australia into selling me a set, since usually they are only sold with Genuine Side Rail kits from ARB. Used some nice grade 8 Hardware:

    Getting there:

Only problem I really ran into was when I went to paint my rear hub under the wheel. Took the wheel off and saw this, Grease on the back of the rim. What does this mean? Blown Axle Seal? No Oil or Grease on the underneath of the axle and its not brake fluid either:

Okay. also, since i forgot to factor in weekend bay bridge traffic, would it be alright to drop it Monday instead of today? not in a giant rush to have it back so if you have to hold it for the next batch of powdercoat thats okay.

If any of you guys were at the new steak house in odenton last night that was me who parked next to you. I really liked the look of your truck. Thought I saw you again today at the giant and tried to talk to you but it was someone different. If either of you guys are on here I just thought I'd say what's up.

Looks good! Can't wait to get my new garage built. The builder pushed the start date back from mid Sept to mid Oct. And my luck it will rain everyday in Oct.
