Out of respect for Brice and his build thread I'll happily take this up with you elsewhere. I've had plenty of experience to know not to argue with a kid, have a nice day, feel free to PM me if you're feeling like you still know it all and need to enlighten me.

Drives great. Acceleration took a little hit. Won't be a problem with your truck though lol. Got 18.7 mpg on a 200 mile trip all highway, plus being stuck in traffic for 15 min. Probably could have got close to 19.5. Pretty good considering all the extra weight on my truck. I usually try to keep it at or under 70 mph to help the mpg.

Had some rub when turning and hitting a bump. I took a hammer to the pinch welds and trimmed a little plastic. Did a little wheeling last weekend still have some rubbing on the plastic at full lock and compressed. Just need to cut a little more off I would say.

I do have 3.5bs rims....not sure how much that helps because its such a skinny tire anyway but yeah.

Thank you for the good information.

Please don't think I'm about to disregard all of your opinions, but I sat and thought to myself what I really wanted to do with this truck from when I got it, and that's to go fast. Now I know it'll never be a corvette, but atleast I can make it unique. The whole idea of a lift is for clearance, stance and tires. However tires make you slower and I'm not super into that... Honestly leaving this thing as a sleeper is super appealing to me. So before I heavily consider a lift and tires as my first hurdle this coming year, Im gonna make it fast, AEM a tune, injectors etc. Then I'll look into lifts and stuff like that, because after all this titled Brice's Turbo V6 build.

(Although I may put those F5's on...so sexy...;))

I wouldn't lift it. Not if your never going to need it/ use it. Being 4wd would be the best before a lift.

Lol I might need to include 4wd drive under my list of "make it go fast"

4WD launches at the drag strip are always awesome, no need to worry about traction.

Yeah, by the sounds of it you have no intentions off really making it an off road rig at this point so I wouldn't waste the money on tires or lifts or anything yet.

Haha yeahhhh...I tend to get distracted by nice shiny parts

    In other news...
    https://youtu.be/BowxV5yh2-g

I got about 9 seconds, not too bad for 2psi (gotta fix that WG situation soon)

I also calculated what size injectors I should use (approximately)
For 400Hp (crank) I'm lookin at 494cc Injectors so 550cc's
For 350Hp (crank) I'm lookin at 424cc Injectors so 440cc's or so
I think Im gonna get the 550 cc's just for further expansion

Also this http://urdusa.com/store/Fuel-Upgrad...High-Flow-In-Tank-Fuel-Pump/product_info.html Think itll fit?

Also sorry for the shaky camera

If you want to go fast then I recommend keeping 31" tires and staying away from mud or aggressive treads. The speed rating of a tire is very indicative of how well it spins. Mine are Q (99 mph) and they rob a shit ton of power. 32's are too big for stock gears IMO. The only reason to make the trade off is for more ground clearance for off roading.

If you just lifted your front end with the bills or OME and left the rear stock or maybe a 1" shackle lift you'd be sitting perfect for 31's.

Definitely go easy with tires unless you are certain you'll regear. I regret going up to even 32" and my truck was 9 psi s/c boost, 7th injector and methanol.

I don't recall what stock tires are rated for, but I've definitely gone faster than 99mph lol. I would like to find a good set of 31's that can hold 16" tire so I can get this F5's and do the tundra brake upgrade. Lemme tell yah 1000lbs in the bed of a stock truck is scary (that and I probably need to change my pads)

Alright so I parked the truck after driving it for about 45 minutes or so (no issues) and after coming back to the truck after about an hour or so it wants to run extremely lean at idle like 20 to 1 AFR... I did attempt to put an automatic transmission temperature gauge into my scan gauge 2 but I don't see how that could affect the air fuel ratio, the xguage for trans temp didn't work and fluctuated a whole lot. :notsure: I speculate my fuel pump may be bad, but I'm not exactly sure. I've never actually heard the thing turn on in the truck since it's under the bed and it's never really made any noise, like ever, so... Is this a sign of a dead pump? If so I'll just go ahead and upgrade the dumb thing. My hypothesis is is that the fuel pump hasn't been replaced in 170,000 miles and all the sudden putting 2 PSI boost to it has killed it...:notsure:

The boost won't affect the pump. Remove the scan gauge and see if that fixes it.

Well I should say I had the fpr boost referenced. And I did but no luck...

2 psi wouldn't do much to the FPR. And no affect whatsoever to the pump. Maybe your filter is clogged? Easy swap.

Just swapped it, no luck. I'm pretty sure the pump crapped out idle to 3000rpm is 20>

EDIT: guess it could also be the 02 sensor..
