I wish they would have stamped TRD PRO on the rear fenders like they did on the Tundra.

The purpose of the pro is to buy a sweet truck, not build one. And make Toyota money lol

I had the replacements coming to about the same price but as mentioned you'd gain the JBL and the Moonroof if you went limited then added... but as mentioned you'd lose out on it actually being a TRD Pro. I haven't done the math on doing it with an OR but i'd imagine it wouldn't be much different either as when I did the price to add the parts to an OR from a Limited that was more expensive. Doesn't really phase me. If my TRD Pro doesn't ever come in i'll just change over to a limited and go from there but i'd rather the Pro.

I see it as being for people like me who don't have time to do all the work or research (for now) but want the best Off-road we can get for the price point.

Amen. I could care less about having my shitty optioned out Sport or a loaded TRD Pro. It's a Taco either way. That's why I bought it.

If people believed they can build a companys "minorly updated and different " models , ie Off Road to Trd Pro... then shitty CUVs that are knock offs of a company's cheaper model (many examples but the most obvious ones are the Cadillac s) then the company s that make them would be long dead by now.
Also GMC s brilliant "Profesional Grade " campaign.... comes to mind. Point being - yeah you could pretty much build the same shit - but outta the box is always easier option

Traded the OR for the Pro and love it. Both are incredible, but I'm 6'4" and Pro has more headroom w/o sunroof. Suspension of Pro is incredible for desert running. Bummer no JBL, though.

I was a bit bumed when I heard no JBL premium... however when I was young I was really into car stereos so I am looking forward to putting a custom one into my Pro. Assuming my dealer gets one. Awesome truck! Congrats.

Can someone with a Cement Taco verify that the paint code is 1H5? This code is also used on some Scion models as "Cement Grey Metallic". Is the Taco Cement paint metallic? Gracias.

Saw one on the frwy on the way home from work the other day. Cement really stands out. Like it. I actually would trade my rare to non-existent production collector RC for one of these in this color. Pay for one? Nah....

That guard on the one above makes the front end look much better.

Do they only come in DC or is there an AC?
