Well went and test drove a 2017 Off-Road DCSB Inferno, Manual Transmission with the Tech Package. My sister works in the parts/service department and her boyfriend was the salesman there. Loved the truck so we talked numbers. My old Tacoma was a 2010 Off Road DCSB with 72,500 miles on it. Thankfully it has been paid off for a while. Sticker price on the 2017 was $37,900. Was able to squeeze $20,500 for my truck, and got the new Tacoma for $35,500. Added running boards and walked out having financed $16,800 for the new truck. I LOVE IT! Can't speak enough about the subtle upgrades from my old Tacoma. Love having a manual back as well.

Congratulations on your new ride. Looks great.

I am in the same boat, trading my '15 for a '17. I am getting the same color but access cab. Had to order so it will be a few more weeks until I can join the club.

Did you try getting it built without the Munchkin seats? My next access cab I'm going to see if I can get it built without them. Also like to get a solid back window, no sliding glass.

I followed your build thread. Nice looking 2015. If you don't mind sharing, what did the dealer offer for your trade?

Serious question, why are you guys trading in for the uncertain/reliability issues and not waiting until the 3rd gen issues are resolved? At least that's what I'm doing, maybe 2018/2019. Not understanding the logic here, in all seriousness.

Congrats, That looks like a great deal! Your 2010 looks super clean also. Pays to keep a truck clean! Crazy how these trucks hold their value.

Like absolutely no hint of vibration between 1900-2300rpm?

I did. You did not get my sarcasm it seems. It appears all these trucks have the buzzy vibration, just in varying degrees, and apparently some people don't notice it or it doesn't bother them. It does not mean the fault isn't there.

Zero issues here also. If any do arise my long warranty and Toyota I am sure will take care of it. Any other questions ?

Good for you on buying a MT! I had that same exact truck built, but backed out because I couldn't get over the 5ft bed. No point in getting a truck if I can't sleep in the back with the tailgate up, and not sleeping sideways with the wife..

Any truck that has a buzzing that's a characteristic of the truck in going to guess has had the problem since it rolled off the assembly line. It should be present during a test drive. Simple solution is to go on a nice long test drive to ensure the truck you want is free of vibrations and any issues/concerns you have
