Weigh it down. Google how the arts and crafts crowd anchor their EZ-ups. A pretty common method is sand filled sections of 6" pvc pipe with an eye bolt through one of the end caps.

I just built my carport, and I don't remember which running boards I put on.

Those were the Go Rhino, RB10 running boards I had on my Silverado. The coating peeled away in big pieces.

The OEM ones in my pic above are aluminum and covered in plastic like the bed rails and they also have the same pattern on them as the bed rail covers...They will fit a 17 as well...ne drilling req'd.

Not sure what you are asking... Do you have a 2015..??? However, I had the dealer install these on my truck before I picked it up. I had the same ones on my 2006 Taco and loved them...traded it that way. Did not want to put "old" stuff on my new truck.. hehehe.
I'm sure I read on here where guys have moved them from the older trucks to the newer trucks..

I'd just call the dealer to confirm...what are you trying to do?... Buy a set for a '15..?? and put on a '17..??

    Splain..??

I have a 2017 but I didn't like the OEM running boards. I like ones in your picture. I thought you had used your old ones. are those the OEM for the 2016? the 2017's look different.

The "official" OEM steps currently listed at Toyota.com are:
    • 3" Round Tube Steps - Chrome
    • 5" Oval Tube Steps
    • Cast Aluminum Running Boards (the ones I linked to earlier)
    • Predator Tube Steps
    (http://www.toyota.com/tacoma/accessories/exterior)

Now some regions seem to have other stuff, I know there are a couple flavors here in SouthEast Toyota named "Stealth Stainless Steel Running Boards" and "Stealth Black Running Boards" which I've seen but didn't like.

Yes, these are OEM boards from my dealer. I'm confused now. As far as I know the ones I have are OEM, and they were OEM in 2006 as well.... Not sure what other OEM "boards" Toyota may have.. they may have different models, etc..???

Confused now.. Maybe check the Tacoma Build site and see if you can get a pic of the "board" options..??

    Cool... You'll like 'em, I'm sure...:thumbsup::canada:
Oh, and the dealer price here in Canuck land was around $500.00 That should translate to like $350.00 US...?

If you can find a non dealer that has them... may be cheaper...!!

Would you believe US MSRP is $795 and invoice is $560? Discount internet pricing runs around US$600

Maybe you have a new business opportunity... :)

Might have to check with the dealer to see if these ones for the 15 will fit a 16.... I bet they will, but I'm not sure.
