It's the same with the Marine Corps Air Wing , they've got more aircraft awaiting repair or retiring from service than they do have in actual flight readiness

Good morning, or afternoon for the East Coast. Up to 60 here and finally drying out from the rain that seems to have lasted all summer. I don't want to be cold and I don't want to be hot anymore either, LOL. Those in the heat stay cool relief is on the way. Eventually.

UnFreakingBelievable I was only able to watch the first 10 sec. that was enough.

For all you Airedales, Wingnuts and Aviation fans was out shooting Eagles on the Mississippi river couple of years ago on a Saturday. 20 miles or so down river saw some smoke trails in the air and set the lens to infinity and snapped off a few shots. Got home and saw Blue and figured there were some Hornets in the area so Sunday went down and sat on the bluffs above the River and Airfield in LaCrosse. Best seat in the house.

Not being smart, but I think you meant a U-2 was shot down. No SR-71 was ever shot down. It was too fast for any aircraft, flew too high and fast for any surface to air missile, and it has stealth technology that made it difficult to detect from radar.

And it looks like the new one has been one big Charlie foxtrot.

    Awesome shots!

Thanks! Dog has shown no signs of cancer except maybe panting more. Its so hot its hard to tell. He's still very active and playful.

should be on the end of the rod or check the jack kit for the key. Sound like what I have - it's a wheel lock for the spare.

Good afternoon all. Parks and Recreation here locally with the local animal shelter does a benefit for the shelter where they open up one of the outdoor pools for dogs before they close things for the winter. Decided to take my dog over and let here swim a little cause she is healing from a pulled muscle in her shoulder. What a mad house! Probably 75 dogs in the pool area, maybe 2 or three in the pool at any time, others just running around chasing balls or sniffing butts. Loud beach music was being blasted while dogs were barking and owners were chasing their pets around. So many tennis balls floating in the pool that the pup didn't know which one to go grab. At one point she tried to get 2 or 3, massive fail as her mouth started taking on too much water. Total Chaos! After 15 minutes or so my dog started getting nervous and showing signs of stress so I took her out and went for a short walk to let her calm down, then drove on home. I think she liked the swimming, liked some dogs, but not all the commotion and loud noises. I'd say a pleasant afternoon diversion for a good cause. All proceeds go to the shelter.
