I know, just want a clean slightly smoked look that doesn't affect light output. SPPCs taillights are perfect, but no longer making the headlights. So will see if I can luck into a pair of TRD pros but think its going to be tall order

Hell no!!! There pure junk and being sent back. If I can't find the TRD Pro lights, i will be going back to clear OEM and calling it a day. Just Sucks you can't find lightly tinted headlights that are classy and not over the top. If someone starts building them, they will make a shit ton of money!!!

I provided links to buy OEM smoked lights a few posts earlier. They are readily available.

Thanks Crash, but they are 450 dollars, which is a little to steep for me! I would probably say screw it they were 325, but for 450 they can :jerkoff:

Spending 30 seconds I was able to find them for $400.

I think they may offer a forum discount as well, making them cheaper.

Unfortunately real quality is not cheap. Optionally look for a CAPA aftermarket version of the OEM unit to bring price down further.

you shouldnt smoke the lenses on headlights or tail lights , it cuts down on your light output too much for it to be safe. and If you use the nightshade like a lot of people use, then you really screw yourself.
I would recommend painting the inside of your lights where possible and it will give the same look as if the lenses were dark

I've had these Anzos for 3 years. ( Amazon $180 ) Held up pretty good. No loss of light. The lenses clear coat are just now starting to peel. I just wax them. Still look good.

OP, I had to replace my headlights when my truck was in an accident. Toyota also sells the smoked headlight without all of the bulbs, which is about $30 cheaper a light. By swapping all of my bulbs over, I was able to buy 2 OEM Sport headlights for about $350, or about what you're looking to spend. And as others have said, they're way better quality than the aftermarket stuff. On that link above, they are part 5, not 1. You can see the price difference.
