    Wow how long is that group buy going to last??? When are they going to release them? Also the box Im thinking about using is the one listed on the previous page. It is according to www.the12volt.com .526 cu.ft. But it is ported. I blocked the port so is that ok?

    OK I know this is a DUH question but I was reading on the diymobileaudio and do you have to be a member to order for that price? And is it free to become a member?

    .5 cubic feet is perfect so you'd be right on there. As long as you seal up the port well it will work great!

The group buy is open till the 30th or till he sells out (which he might do). I've got two on order for other projects. They'll be available at the beginning of February.

    Cool! Well I just signed up as a member. But on the amps the ones I listed were they any good? I want to go with the kicker, but if the check is not so good would the others be a ok choice?

    The BM is a dual 4ohm sub so you could run a coil on each of the rear channels of that amp. I think you'd need to run the signal in MONO from your headunit and you'll be fine.

    You wont need it in your situation. That AP vent is something you use when you don't have quite enough space and you need to simulate a larger box than you have. The IS300 guys have a spare tire well that only allows about .3 cubic feet so I needed to use that for them.

    You have right about .5 which is ideal so you should be perfect without it.

    Cool! Also is the BM rated at 450w rms? Is 200w rms or 100w rms to each voice coil going to be enough power?

    Subwoofer power ratings are what they will handle; not what they need. That's a common misconception. 200 will work well on it. More would be even better though; that's why I suggested the kicker. :D

    A good amp indeed but it's even more than the kicker one I suggested that has more power for the sub.

    HAHA! Missed where the kicker was 2ohm stable. What guage power wire sould I run? I only have I think either 12 guage or 10 guage power wire currently.

    Absolutely. The BM has the XBL^2 motor design that drastically reduces distortion. It's a great sounding woofer. I got to test the prototype MKII version before he released it. The MKII version had ferrite magnets and the MKIII (the one being released finally) has neo magnets and will be even better AND lighter.
