That sucks. Gonna ruin it for the rest of us.

Those were some pretty fun trails. Been wondering about it for a while.

A lot of people aren't happy about this wheeling group... They are planning to destroy what the group did within the next few weeks is the word:notsure:

Just ask'n my TW peeps, I understand leaving trash is bad, but who determines ones actions\intentions as "good" or "bad" when doing trail maintenance??? Maybe they truly believed they were doing something for the better good of things? OR, should they have gotten permission from, say, the local rangers assigned to that area, is that how it is supposed to work??? :notsure:

I think if they truly were trying to do good they should have run in by the BLM and have gotten the okay to pour concrete. By them not doing this they make the jeep community look bad but also give a bad name to groups doing REAL "trail maintenance". They also now have hundreds of off-road enthusiasts pissed at them.

Never in my life have I come across a section of trail that was modified to this extent and to take the challenge out of it. What they did was not just stack a few rocks, this group used bags and bags of concrete to change the trail into what they soley wanted and left behinds great numbers of trash. Were not talking a couple water bottles here also...

Does make sense that they should have gotten permission before doing major alteration of a trail from the proper authorities. I was just wondering still and thanks for giving input.:fistbump::cheers:

LOL, Danny, just so that my dumba$$ learns, why is concrete bad for trails and\or trail repairs? :notsure::crapstorm:

I HIGHLY agree with the challenge part, I'm just talking about on occasion trail repairs as I know that does need to be done from time-to-time, but am wondering about the concrete part or something better could have been used and\or done better? :notsure: Other than that, I fully agree. The idiot (me), just wants to learn. You can punch me when we meet for the San G, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

Very much agree and makes sense. Btw, what a douche bag response I must say... NOT you, LOL, just to make that clear, LOL, but seriously, what an a$$!!! And, SERIOUSLY, "stock"... "graded"... LMAO, I've seen the pics of shi- you guys go through and them ain't no "graded road" sir!!! LOL!!! o_O:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Btw, regarding "capable", I'm a firm believer on "experience" as I am NOT all that experienced. I have a stock 4WD that is surely capable for most runs, but must admit that the inexperience part of me scares me at times. I'm getting there though!!! Hey, at least I'm doing it, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: If I feel that I'm in way over my head, then I won't risk it. I would NEVER risk my life on "Heart Attack Hill" in Anza!!! For example and just say'n. :notsure:

Can hardly wait for San G. So, do I need to get an adventure pass even though I'm not camping??? I feel a bat about to hit me, LOL!!! :smack::rofl:

All that jive about the murkiness of the law and blm permission slips but the ones defending their concrete laying actions are dodging the "Tread Lightly" discussion. Their ethics and dignity are missing from their rabid defenses. Those kind of people I can never have a discussion with. Scor members that regularly post are the same type of people that slap truck nuts on their tow hitches. Catch my drift? I have no time for those cats

Edit: this is in response after I read through the fb comments regarding the concrete pour and wiched boulders at KOH. Also, Danny, your stock toyota with snorkel is gaf. Haha. Don't pay that fool anymore attention.

LMAO, THAT is the motto I was trying to think of, LOL!!! Yeah, what happened to "tread lightly"??? :confused:o_O Again, I know trails do need actual maintenance on occasion, but yeah, does make sense that with what they did is a no-no!!! Agreed!!!:fistbump:

Btw, for San G, what are the names of the trails that we might go on? Just so that I can check out some you_tube vids just to see.
