DOT Police are busy today, drug bust with 6-7 patrol cars across from the employee lot, and three traffic stops less than 1/4 mile from each other

Nah, I've got the cavalier with me. The ford needs a timing belt as it's going on 200k on the original belt, and if I'm gonna tear into it that far I'm gonna knock out the water pump at the same time

I've got 7 till I'm off. Unfortunately I have got to stay another two hours after that for a dental appointment before I go red in the system.

What the hell. Got up at noon, dicked around until 5, then drove two hours south to my hotel for the Rallycross. Been trying to sleep since 8, and can't seem to get to sleep to save my life, and I have to get up at 6, drive over too the event, then race all day, and drive home, on no sleep.... Wtf

That's what sucks about working nights...when it's time to try and get back to a regular schedule it ain't hattinin'!

I work in the GOM on supply ships. I'm home now but getting ready for another hitch in a few days. I'll be working 0000-1200 shift. I've learned to transition now when I'm on land rather than trying to do it on the boat.

Yeah, it sucks for sure. It's insane how easy it is to go from days to nights, but nights to days is like pulling teeth

That shift sucks. I work 1100-2300 now, changing from 0600-1800. When about 1800 or 1900 rolls around, I'm like, "Hell yes! Almost done! Dammit......half done......"

Noon to midnight is perfect for me. I fall asleep around 3am anyway and I feel like I'm sleeping in because I'll wake around 10:30-11:00:p
