The ash bore Beatle has been pretty good for us getting free wood at our farm. Arborist are paying to dump their logs at our place. For a small fee it's a win win for both parties.
Small pile of the small hord.

Holy shite!!! You are being paid to take wood???!!!

People fight over loads of wood chips here, never mind the wood itself.

There is so much ash trees coming down because of the Beatle that everyone is charging to take it. We charge a very very small fee for them to dump there chips and wood. Works out, as we need a bunch of wood to keep our greenhouses warm in the winter.

That beetle isn't quite here yet, but it's on it's way.

    Hey, Pete.

I tried to install my NorthStar battery and Pelfreybilt cage today, but the wire coming out of the fuse box is too short. I have the Big 3 kit to install as well, so that should cover the short wire issue, but....

How do I get into that fuse box to replace the wire?? I saw your wire kit and battery at the M&G in TO, but I didn't pay enough attention. I was up to page 5 on your build, but didn't see it.

Mines tight but I am still using the stock wire. I didn't look too much into it to replace but I think the wire splits off into two. I'll see if I can find something for you to have a reference.

    Edit:
This build has lots of detail on the big three. Should give you enough detail about where stuff is. Worse case I have a crimper and we can always make another longer wire if ya need.

    Thanks, man!

I'll scroll through it. I know that I saw a thread somewhere on here on how to change that wire.

I need to clean up all the stuff piling up in the garage... and there's more coming...

The big 3 above is not for 2nd Gen wiring. I have the kit from @BamaToy1997. I got this from another member:

I need to install the battery/cage/Big 3 wire mod/RTMR panel/6 switch panel/hook up lights and then I'm good to go on the winch mounting.

Going away this weekend (Friday evening & part Saturday) to pick up the Baja Mega Mule rack, which puts me behind on the above. I need to finish the last boards along the wall on my new deck as well on Sunday.

    :annoyed:.... not enough time!!!

I hear ya. I have to do some stuff to, but my biggest issue is there isn't enough time to go out and camp. Crazy busy. Hopefully we get enough snow so there can be some day snow runs. Definitely keeps it fun.

My dog couldn't wait for me to buy an RTT, so he got his own ...

... and installed it himself. He's pretty handy with a wrench.
