Got a quick question. When I pull the hood release in the cab, my hood dosent pop up that half inch or so most do. I can still hear it unlock, but I have to pry my finger between the hood and grill, and then use the lever to raise the hood. Is this normal for a 2015. I don't see any spring or any other way to adjust to get the pop up.

My 2015 does the same thing. It pops up just a little but not enough to get your finger under the hood.

Same for my '11, fingers barely fit between the hood and grille to acess the latch
Maybe the hood strut mod/kit is a dofferent story, anyone have them installed?

On my 14 there are two latch fingers, one you can access thru the grille area just beneath the upper one. Take a look in there with a flashlight.

Same thing with my 2015. The hood strut mod fixed it and makes it pop up like you would want.
