Mornin gents. Happy first Sunday of the NFL season. My team played and won on Thursday night but still stoked to watch some games today.

 

May the NFL gods shine down on the Cardinals today.

Coming from a state with 3 teams, all of which I can't stand and two of them being in the same division as my team, I am going to have to get used to rooting for the Cardinals since they are the new "home" team. It helps that they are in the NFC. So.....let's go AZ!

 

I feel like I'm incredibly fortunate. I'll watch football but I don't give a shit about it. Which means while people are glued to their couches on Sunday's I get the outdoors all to myself!

 

I like your thinking. Based on not having the NFL package, there are only a couple of games that I will watch all of. I will be using my Sunday's this fall and winter to do the same. I have a lot of adventures to go on in AZ and the weekends are my time for that!!

 

About 4 or 5 years ago I started watching less football. Last year all I watched some of a couple playoff games, and the Super Bowl. Though I still love football, I just seem really good without watching it anymore. If I'm in the house doing nothing, I'll watch a game, and I like it enough to watch any game, but I too would rather be out in the garage or somewhere else.

My other problem is the politics of it all. Kaepernick is just one of the many spoiled idiots. Sports stars and Hollywood types are knuckleheads when they start spouting outside their realms!

 

I don't have cable or satellite so there is only a couple of games on antenna. I only really watch the cardinals game. I will usually have the other games on in the background during the day. I love that today's game is an evening game, pizza and beer after a day of getting things done.

Football does seem to becoming the new basketball. Another reason to avoid to much involvement in that culture.

Morning everybody! Back from Alaska! Two months away from the desert made me appreciate it's beauty even more. While I think Alaska is probably the most spectacular place on earth, it's Damn good to be home. If anyone out there gets a chance to go commercial fishing in AK, I highly suggest you drop everything and take it. Even just sport fishing or taking a cruise, go there! Unfortunately I grabbed the wrong battery and charger for my camera so all I have is cell phone pics but I'll try to get some of the better ones posted up as I sift through the 500 or so pictures I took. Anyways, great to be back, I missed you silly Fuckers!
