Thanks !!! , makes me feel good that people like my Camaro

Even celebrated with a few 60' passes that resulted in very noticeable black tracking

    Congrats Chuck.
Unless you walk the road of a car nut, no one understands. I know how you felt when they announced you being best in show. Amazing wasn't it. All those hours alone, researching, working extra hours for the money, building, polishing. Skinned knuckles, choosing between sleep at 2am or finishing installing that dam left side header that just won't quite sneak by.
I always had a dream when I retired that I would build the sickest 3 window I could and drive the hell out of it. Now, I can't stand looking at a car. Starting a 3 or 4 year project after I retired was exciting to think about. Doing what I wanted, when I wanted, how I wanted. All that was before reality stepped in.
I may not build that car but i work on some of the slickest (IMO) cars in the world. How many people can say that. When we took the 2000 GT to lime rock a few years ago, During the concourse , Bob and I had to share 2 hour shifts talking about the history of it. I am not very comfortable talking to people but I had 40 plus people listening to me talk. I had people come up after and shake my hand and say thank you etc etc. Not to bad for someone that has a speech problem. It changed me.
Believe me, I know how you felt.
    Congrats buddy.......

    Well said Mike.
I have a big show going on today, but the cold front is coming by in a couple hours with some weather.
Yea, I know the Nova still has wipers, but all the fluff and buff I did yesterday will be for nothing. Plus the car likes to break dance on wet roads. I'll have to play this one by ear.

I have one picture of my Chevelle somewhere. I need to scan it and post it. It's the only one of the car.
