I'm buying a new hood from Toyota for my 17 Tacoma and I was wondering if anybody knew if I can get the stickers that are on underside of the hood from Toyota or if they had any luck removing the original decals from the old hood and installing on new hood. The dealer is clueless. I need those labels for emission testing out here in California.
    Thanks for any help

    I'd think Toyota parts.

Ive dealt with this with another manufacture and the parts department had to order it specific with my vin on it. You would think with it being so new of a truck that you may have good luck with getting the original labels off. Are you getting the Sport hood?
I am waiting on a 2017 off road and want to order the hood. How much was it?

i'm sure somebody here on TW can get it cheaper and they'll say I'm getting ripped off. But
391.23 plus 73 for scoop part.

That sounds about right getting from a dealership bad part about it is you still have to get painted, don't know why they can't come already painted

I found a guy on this forum when I had my 2005 that had a sport hood and didn't like it took it off and sold it to me for $400 had to drive five hours to get it but it was worth it

PM me with your VIN and I will get you the correct part numbers for the Hood labels that you will need. The shop will not be able to save the old ones.

    It is what it is!
Hi Brian, I too did a hood swap , non-scoop for a scooped hood and lost the original decals that were on the hood. Would you be kind enough to research my vin for my under hood decals too!
I would try and repay you somehow...
    Tim
