Wheeling almost every weekend has me replacing my engine air filter about every 6 weeks, it gets filthy.

I kept the last one I pulled out to drop back in when I hit the trails so I don't have to get a clean one so often.

That's the plan with this one. I'll keep the dirty one for a bit and "back wash" it with my air compressor. See how long it lasts. I did notice a bit more "pep" to the truck after driving it for a bit. Guess it was starving for clean air.
The cabin filter I swapped in is a Fram unit with some arm n hammer crap. Supposed to to purify the air a bit more. Dunno how well it works but my AC air does smell cleaner because of the new filter.

If I was you, I'd change it asap. Truck feels better after the swap. Although it could just be a placebo thing. Ordered mine form Amazon.

    Hey,
So we went on a three day tour of the Mojave Dez. A lot of the Mojave rd plus side trips. went to fort Piute stone walls, camp rock Springs, had tagging by the soldiers stationed in the 1860's. Two of the best were a tunnel in some lava rock area the image of the light beem was a hole from above and how dark it was inside. than a crevice that started really wide than got very narrow and dark, went in to a point with a rope that you would have to climb about 20 ft. stopped there, I'll climb it the next it the next time. Frog town, bunch of frog lawn ornaments peeps leave. old camper some one built stone walls around, and than added more, so cool. https://www.dropbox.com/sc/yjbojkpftwjeq3w/AACEtSljJ8hnnW6RxdSLVIiVa

Looks good Bob! I did Mojave earlier this year and saw some of those same sights. Beautiful country out there and I can't wait to go back.

Look good Keith! I was just about to ask which tires you went with as I was reading your about your issues. I'm probably going to get some of these in the next couple weeks.

The cave is called the Lava Tubes. Most maps of the area should show them. They're a prominent feature in Mojave. I can get you coordinates if you need them. Pretty amazing to know that a kajillion years ago molten lava flowed through there as the area was cooling and forming itself. Now it's a tourist attraction.
