Well having a Master tech in the family helps for sure. Maybe the 2017s won't have the issues the 2016s did. People do say the first year is always a gamble. Glad our trucks hold value so when it's trade time for a 3rd gen, I won't end up losing out like other brands.

Hard for me to accurately compare my '10 to the '17 since the old Taco was an AT, and this is an MT. That being said powertrain wise, it feels like this new motor has more top end power. Reminds me of my GF's old Vtec motor lol. Throttle response is slightly less than in the 4.0. Both differences are not negatives nor did they deter me from buying the truck any.

Its the stock OEM tonneau that came with the truck. I love it, it's a hard cover and seems to be pretty heavy duty.

I have the seat bottoms in my truck but I had the dealer take the headrests off before I signed the papers. I have them in storage. The bottoms I have folded up. They are nice if you need to set something big back there. Kind of like a shelf..

    Fair question.

I do not have a replacement as I bought the "PRO" one when I walloped a deer when the truck was only 1 week old two years ago!

One of the guys in the shop that works with my son is going to buy it when I officially trade it in. I could not disappoint him as he really loves the looks of the truck.

Congrats on the new truck, looks nice, and good deal for a new truck for $16K! They both look sharp, though

It is so funny to see the amount of haters out there from the second gen. people . If I was so scared from having a bent driveshaft on my 1989 tacoma .I wouldn t have had a 1stgen 2ndgen and 3rd gen . Don t be so negative Its there money let them buy what they want. You can wait till 5rh gen there still will have a few small issues. Good Luck with your new truck.

Well I figured I would try. I could send you my stocker as part of the deal but I understand if you already have a buyer.

Oh ok I remember now, we've discussed this before lol.

I know right? I've already scoped out your setup in the Infeeno thread. Want the TRD Pro wheels sooooo bad
