...^^^... My dash camera catches people trying to step in front of cars at the mall ... probably to get insurance money with the lawyer's name on the bus.

I didn't say it wasn't cool, and I can tell you, over the years I've probably had several people I'd like to smash into that, or me reverse into them with it lol

I seen a 1st Gen taco looking like a rock crawler and he had a maybe a 10 inch green spike sticking out of his hitch. That's why I looked up trailer hitch spikes but I guess that guy made his.

The $500 came from sitting on a jury during a trial here in GA a couple years ago.

Maybe it varies by county or has changed or maybe I'm misremembering.

I was certainly surprised it was so low.

Within 2 weeks of owning my new '16 I found a baseball sized dent with a white paint scrape on my driver side rear door. The worst part is you can see where someone tried to rub the paint off with their finger. So it was obvious they know what they did and didn't own up.

People are pathetic, at least leave a note.

So today I'm on the hwy in the left lane. I see 3 cars in front of me move to the right lane because there's a old reg cab Dodge Ram veering around side to side and slowing down. I see through his back window and see his fist waving around. I think he's having a bad argument with his passenger. I moved over and passed him and see that he's yelling by himself....

We came to our parked car (my wife's very clean but 15 year old VW, fortunately, not my 2016 Taco) and the red Sequoia next to us has its passenger door open and rubbing against the white VW's door, leaving a big red mark. Guy and his girlfriend are getting stuff out of the tailgate. My wife got pretty pissed off, showed him the evidence, and he did (sort of) apologize. Then he said "That's funny, I didn't hear it hit the door". That's when I really got pissed off, if you heard it, it's too late!!!

I once saw a guy in a truck in my work parking lot throw his door open so hard that it hit the car next to him, bounced off and came back and hit him. Well he must have gotten frustrated it did that (he was loading something into his passenger seat) because he pushed it BACK INTO the car next to him AGAIN and held it there with his body while he continued piling up his passenger seat. I was so pissed but I did not want to cause any sort of issue at work.

I usually parked around the same spot so I took the guys license plate, make, model etc. and a couple days later, as i was leaving, saw the person who's car it was that got hit. I told them what I saw and.....they didn't even care. Said that side had some scratches already anyways and it wasn't a big deal. It was a relatively new car too.

I now park someplace completely different. Plus now I get there early enough to get one of the spots in the corner so I can park close enough to one side that the other person's door could never even reach me. I'm also putting a small chunk of disposable income each paycheck towards sliders now too....

Was getting gas at my local gas station and some shithead girl in a hagged out Mitsubishi Eclipse pulls up behind me so close that the nose of her car was 6 inches past my bumper. Thank God my truck sits as high as it does. She went in to pay for gas so I hung up my pump ,checked to make sure it didn't hit and went to another gas station. Wanted to judo chop that girl.

If you were in the left lane you should have gotten over. Its called the passing lane for a reason. If your over there and see some one approaching from behind you need to get over.

I'm a bit paranoid of hitting someone else with my door no matter how old their car is. If a parking space is tight as I get out I put my hand on the edge of my door so if it would hit their car my hand is in the way and hits instead. Usually not necessary as I am careful but I do it anyway.
