Black/Orange interior

Who has it and what do others think of it? I have been looking at a Magnetic Gray w/JBL Tech Package and the I think the Dealer is giving me a great deal?

Trade-in of $26,500 (I think they have the truck sold) on a 2014 Off Road 50K miles pay-off $17K ($9289 positive) New 17 Off Road $40,507 MSRP selling me the Truck for $36,907..... So $36,907 - $9289 = $27,618 + 2.4% Interest = $2,116.58 = $29734.58 OTD = $412.98 per month what am I missing here?

I don't have it, but I looked at several trucks with it before I purchased. Each to his own, but I think it looks kind of "fruity" if you know what I mean. To me, it works best with the Inferno, but beyond that it's questionable.

 

I like it actually. I am just having a hard time warming up too it thats all....

I dig the stitching and I am thinking of buy the gun metal trim and replacing it..

 

I have the orange trim in my white Tacoma. It wouldn't have been my choice but I figured I could change it if it grew to bother me.

I don't really even notice anymore. If you wanted to carry the effect a little more, it could use a few more similar colored accents. With the orange (I think) stitching on the seats it's not a bad mix, but I now have all black seat covers so the stitching is not visible. I've been thinking about the $100+ TRD-Pro shift knob since it has a red/orange accent but I'm a long way away from cosmetic mods.

Passengers have seemed to like it for whatever that's worth.

 

I was hesitant with mine at first as well. I think it looks great now. Get many compliments. Works on my black truck better since I changed my TRD bed stickers to red.

 

Just looked at an inferno with it. Looks awesome. However I'm not sure how I would feel with it on a different color. MGM wouldn't be terrible with it though

I was in the same situation, I wasn't going to get my truck cause of the orange inside. I just ended up getting it and swapped out the dash for a gray one to match the rest of the interior. The stitching isn't a big deal because it's barely noticeable, especially when people are sitting down you can't see the stitching. To me it even looks more red than orange.

 

I wouldn't get it with any other color than inferno. Im surprised its even an option on other colors. I thought it was only in infernos.

 

I agree...kinda stupid to put that color on anything that's NOT Inferno...!! Dumb ass Toyota..!!

 

When I ordered mine that told I couldn't get the orange interior and the tech package. I'll be looking to trade with someone or paint once my truck actually arrives.

I have the orange/black interior, and I love it. Like the poster above, I wasnt in love with it at first and figured that is something easy enough to change if it bothered me. I have a strong preference for the orange bezel now. It breaks up the interior but is not at all distracting while driving. My Taco is white, and I think it looks good with the white. I havent seen any color Taco that the orange and black interior wouldnt look good with, jmho. I think black exterior looks the best with the orange and black interior combo.

 

He's got a black so it probably looks good in there

It's kinda fitting and ironic since I signed the papers on Halloween. I'll admit, it felt a little "Fast and Furious" at first but I dig it now.

 

You forgot the "can you afford it" question. Going from one financed vehicle to another, larger financing deal is rarely a good financial decision. But hey, it keeps the economy going.

As to the orange trim, I'm not a fan.

 

Is the America? Oh, I thought this was America? Who needs to be able to afford it?
