Sweet. At the price he's offering right now they're a steal.

Break it in over the course of a few days. Nothing really specific; just don't hammer it right out of the box.

Just so you know all your options before purchasing you should take a look at my sub. It's a 150 watt kenwood powersub..so far I love it and it has great quality and response.

Its on the last page of my cardomain..seriously..take a good look at it.. I would highly recommend it, easy to install too.

If it does rater power it should be fine. I've never run that before or known anyone who has.

Crap!!! There is only 1 of the kicker amp left in stock at sonicelectronix. What would you suggest if I cant get the kicker? Im trying to keep it under $200 but I may be able to go a little higher. The BM would be running at 2ohms wired up correct? So I would need an amp that can be bridged at 2ohms correct??

It's a dual 4 ohm coil config. That means you can parallel them for a 2ohm load or wire them in series for an 8ohm load.

Most amps wont bridge at 2ohms though.

So can most amps that support a 4ohm load also support a 8ohm load?

Yes. An 8 ohm load is always easier to run than a 4ohm load. Remember, the SPEAKER is the load, not the amp. So don't think of it as strain on the amp. A higher speaker load (higher ohms) means the amp has to do less work so it's always happy! :)

You guys are killing me with the whole, buy "this" or "that" brand. It really irritates me.

It's like if someone asked what car they should buy and you said, "Oh, you should be a GM. I have one and I like it!"

Spouting a brand does nothing to help the OP. He needs specific models that meet his criteria.
