    Ive never seen snow on Christmas. SC gets snow in January and February, if we get any at all. This is the first time I get to see my parents on Christmas day since 2009. The cabin in two hours from me, and eight hours from them. My work schedule has prohibited me from going home(FL) but this year is more lenient. I was hoping for snow but @dwalden2 said I won't get any. :(

    She keeps saying she hopes it snows. I keep tellin her not to get her hopes up. Last year it was like 70 on Christmas Day. I need snow.

    I hate it. It used to at least be cold...maybe even snow sometimes. The last few years it's just been hot and rainy.

    eww. I'm not the biggest fan of winter but it just doesn't feel like Christmas if there's no snow.

    Never ever. My first winter in SC, I went home to visit my parents after Xmas, come back to the tiny patch of snow in the yard. I missed my first snow and it melted by the time I got back. It ended up snowing a few weeks later and I had a blast in it. Havent had a snow in a couple years. But maybe that'll change since I've moved closer to mountains.

    Yes! Send it in a mason jar. I never experienced a snow flurry til 2009. I got to my friends house in NC and was like "there must be a fire nearby, seems to be some ash falling". He laughed at me.

    Look up what winter 2014-15 was like here. I think 140 inches of snow. Worst part was it was 1.5 to 2 feet at a time. I had 9 foot banks on either side of the driveway and was terrified they would fall over.

    Ruined my bathroom too, I'm still fixing it.

    Fortunately no, but many did have that problem too.

    Ice damming on the edge of the roof. I did use a roof rake but when you get 2 feet at a time there's only so much you can do. So that caused leaks which messed up the ceiling, one wall, and the subflooring. Had pipes freeze twice as well.
