I'm looking into lifting my DCSB for Christmas as a gift to myself and there is just way too many options.

I have 5100's up front now set at .85 and my goal is to be at a 3 inches of lift. I need new leaf packs anyways...

So with that info, what would y'all suggest I go with?

I went for the full OME kit during the group buy. Really good price and seems to have good results from members on here. Not sure how much height I will gain but with all the suspension on the truck being OEM/original it should be around 2.5" from what I read. Also purchased the UCA from Allpro during their group buy. so....

    front 881 springs with Nitro's
rear dakar full leaf pack and Nitro's
    allpro UCA
    goodridge extended brake lines
and also many more parts I ordered

Just waiting till the weekend to drop off my truck at the dealer to get the frame swapped out. After that is complete I will start swapping out parts and getting the lift added.

In less than two years I will hopefully be back in Tampa!!

I thought the adjustable 5100's settings were 0, 1.25" & 2.5" for the 1st gen? I have 3" Eibach coils w/ my 5100's on 0. For 3" of lift. The .85 setting and up are the 5100's for the 2nd gens. Unless you are talking about a 2nd gen?

You would be correct in saying so. (I hang out with mainly 2nd genners). I'm talking about a 1st gen, so I'd be at 1.25" right now.

Not the highest budget to work with.

Id say ome coils (eibachs will be to stiff) to put on the 5100s and some ome leafs. Rear shocks will be up to whats left of your budget.

Wheelers priced me $440 for the leafs, extended brake line, long u bolts, and bushings.

Also have a black double cab. this is the day I brought her home, can wait to change it up a bit.

Have only added weathertech rain guards, husky liners, spray on bed liner, new double din stereo, tinted front windows, and dipped rear bumper, also did all maintenance items. I have been collecting parts since I bought it in Jan of this year. Getting the frame swapped next week and will start adding parts to it slowly.

I have a wheelers 4 pack + a 2" Wheelers AAL and didn't need extended brake lines (I have one, just waiting to put it on, already have fronts on) and was able to reuse my u bolts...

Are spindle lifts a thing for first gens? I feel like that and a 3 pack AAL is the way to go but might run you a bit over budget.

    This ^^^

The right coils should put you at close to the height you want, maybe OME 885s? I'm not sure which have the highest lift, but I think the most you get out of the coils is 2 - 2.5 inches. Set the 5100s to .85 and you'll be set.

If you're looking for 3" though you will most likely need to get new UCAs as well.

Headstrong 3 leaf AAL packs in the rear (with the overload leaf kept in) will give you 3" in the rear.

I don't wanna go with AAL because my leafs are already frowning. Lol. Will I need the extended brake line or longer u bolts if I go with OME leafs?

Depends on what length shock you use but its recommended to get one anyways.

I've read everywhere on here that it's not necessary but purchased them anyways. for under $100, why not. Got the extended Ubolts from another member on here that didn't need them.
