I mean I can help install, but I'm not gonna drop everything just to help dude make the sale lol.

For the record, when I help people with installs I try to get the person involved somehow, usually do one side of a suspension install and then let them try the other side and direct what needs to happen so they can at least get their hands dirty and learn something new. If I was taking money, obviously I'd just do it quickly and get it done lol

 

@MJonaGS32 What time are doors open? I was thinking 8ish so I can get the charcoal started, Potatoes will probably take 3-4 hours...the longer they cook, the better they get

 

if its simple i can do it. do i need to drill any holes? i just dont know what the install involves thats all. my wife will be busy in the morning so i should be able to get there before 12

But yes it's a simple install. I think it took me like 45min and that was with a beer in one hand.

 

There is definitely some drilling. I am no pro at installing and I just followed the instructions it came with. Might have took me about an hour or so.

 

Hey guys, I bought these this LED strip and a switch. Would these two things be enough to be able to wire up a glove box light and tap into the climate control dimmer power (or something around there)?

Also get some wire and just to be safe, an in-line fuse like this

You can get it at any auto zone/o'reilly etc

 

Just make sure to get the right size that fits the fuses in the dash (behind your little coin pocket)

 

I Tore two cv boots on the rubicon. So I'll be doing my boots at Mjs. @VolcomTacoma i gave an extra axle to Jerry to cut up. So you will have to grab it from him this week if you wanna do yours.

you'll want the atc ones. just pull one out of your fusebox and compare.

Yeah. Might be cutting it close with Amazon. If you pop the hood, look inside the cover of your fuse box (the black box just in behind your battery) you'll see some white tweezer looking things, grab those...pull out the coin tray to the left of your steering wheel, it just pops out, give it a good tug (make sure to empty it first, ask me how I know when I launched change over the whole truck)

You can do this in the parking lot of Autozone if you want. They usually have the right stuff.

So you're gonna pull out a fuse that looks like this.


And you're gonna buy a fuse tap that looks like this. Exceeeeeepppt, the fuse above doesn't fit in this.
So you might wanna pick up an assortment of fuses that look like this-

Just make sure that the prongs on the fuse tap are the same width apart as the ones on the micro fuse you pulled out of your dash. Off the top of my head I think the mini fuses and micro fuses share the same prong width, but not length (obviously)

Might cost you $20 for the tap and an assortment box. I've got a couple of fuses around but its always good to have spares handy for yourself if you blow a fuse or something.

 

Also, if alot of people need wiring done I can bring all of my electrical stuff too, but I know @Iggy. is coming and he's 100 times better at it all than me, but I can do minor electrical stuff if anyone needs anything and Iggy is busy.

 

i think iggy is coming i asked him to bring a switch panel for me and he said ok. did you guys need any tools? I can see if i can borrow some from my friend but i wont be able to leave it there. only planning on staying for half a day.

 

I have all the tap a fuses and connectors anyone would need. I just ask you cover for materials, but for sure they are better and cheaper than autozone/RadioShack since I buy in bulk.

I'll help out anyone with electrical needs as long as they are simple so I can help as many folks as possible.

Hopefully @tacomgee can make it, but I have the compressor in the truck ready to roll.
