Idk how old they are and I'm no o2 specialist...so I honestly have no idea. I just don't understand why all the sudden they would stop working

Upon further internet investigation I'm thinking it IS the upstream o2 sensor.

After some reading I think if it were the o2 sensor you'd have a rich condition, not lean. I think it's pretty easy to test fuel pressure but I also think fuel pumps aren't very expensive and the stock one is pretty tiny so it may be time to upgrade.

I had read it could do either :notsure: but I agree it could also be the pump...just gotta see

EDIT: ordered a new AEM 320lph fuel pump

Managed to limp it home by unplugging the upstream o2. AFR's were 16.5-17 so not good... stayed off boost and it made it all ok. Lets hope a pump and new o2 fix my issue here...

Yeah. Really taxed. I bet those brushes are worn really thin.

Hey @Torspd what are your thoughts on URD's electronics? Their MAF and o2 sensor simulators allege to be able to run 2x larger injectors and easy to tune etc. reading through @j0shu4 s build and seeing he had his fic6 tuned at a shop for a pretty penny makes me consider URD route.

Tuning shops average ~$90/hr. Doesn't matter the device. That being said, the tuning of the the MAF-Cal is fairly easy with the U-tune guide. For the turbo, I would get the MAF-Cal with the MAP sensor.

Would URD stuff be a better solution over the fic6?

That depends on how capable each unit it. You'd have to look at the capabilities of both and compare. Then weigh that against your budget.

I just read some stuff @Gadget was saying on custom taco's about how the URD MAF calibrator can support 550 cc's, that makes me wonder if it can do 440's... If it can I'd be super interested since that calibrator is way cheaper than an AEM and harness. (doubt he'll respond but eh wth)

The fic6 looks like a nightmare to wire, most people don't even speak of the wiring without mentioning a boomslang, as if it's a necessity. From what I can gather I'd say the URD stuff is capable at under 10 psi and even beyond that it's debatable. That said though the hardware itself is about on point with a fic 6 since I think you also need the o2 simulator to do any real tuning in closed loop? So there's a little over $400. The fact that URD specializes in Toyota is a comforting one as well. Ah, what to do..

Are Supra injectors 550? I think URD kit's them with the MAF cal if you ask so that's gotta mean something.

I read that stock TT supra's have 440's but idk... And IIRC an o2 simulator is to skip having a cat and not popping a CEL code. An o2 calibrator is what you would use to tune the o2 on older vehicles and a AFR calibrator is what you use on new tacomas with the primary wideband sensor.

The AFR and MAF is what Im talking about and is what tacomas with wideband sensor use

The o2 and MAF is what older tacomas with non wideband o2 sensor would use. MAF cal is for open loop and AFR/o2 cal is for closed, the way I understand.

You want to be able to adjust timing as well.
