They were cutting them and mixing them with another chemical to double the inventory. Basically, buying time to figure something out for the future when dealing with the gangsters.

Idk - the tub he was scooping out of said "Leche"

 

I think the doc asked him something about milk too.

Doc said " you're going to need water to make that milk "

 

Well, now that we cleared all that up, mystery solved. lol

 

Did they clear the entire hotel or just a floor or two?

 

Montage was unclear but I think the idea was to do the whole thing. They had done -l1 or 2 floors before Alicia walked out in the water and had her epiphany

 

Seeing the amount of walkers on the pier, looked like too many for one or two floors and yet not enough for the entire hotel. I just couldn't really tell.

 

Yeah I thought the same thing but they had made the comment that they needed to clear all the floors and 3 buildings worth and then they split in to 3 teams so I figured that was supposed to be the whole lot of them...

 

Couldn't sleep last night so, saw I was still recording this series...gave it another shot. Its just bad.

None of the characters are interesting at all, the story is just boring, its really not interesting at all. PPL love zombies so it will probably stick around longer than it should (Walking Dead).

 

I'd be looking for another place to get water and keep my oxy. laughs.
What about boiling well water? Finding water treatment plant and getting chlorine?

 

So these thugs at the store were ready to chop Nick's hand off a couple weeks ago all over a candy bar but they barely care when Madison storms in during a interogration/hostage situation?

The only good thing out of that whole episode was the possibility that Travis is no longer with Chris.

 

I liked that episode

 

Yeah, that was a bit off mark. Unless the whole family connection gave them a bit of leeway. Nobody really seemed to care that much. Could be malnourishment causing them all to be somewhat listless too. The nephew did say that they wouldn't be around much longer. Seeing the later scene where they see Nick and the location of the Colonia, I wonder if they're at the point of going all out and attempting a take over of the Colonia.

Also, Madison flipping out and turning on the hotel sign! What a bad move. The positive is that Travis (sans Chris) has seen it and is heading that way. But the bad part is all survivors in a few mile radius have also seen it. Previews showed a bunch of live folks at the gates begging to be let in, and Madison and crew just telling them to kick rocks. lol

 

I hope Travis mercy killed Chris and is now a harder not so delusional character. What's up with Sue Ellen Mischke getting all stabby? Is this the Village? She's seen better days

 

I doubt Trav. killed Chris. Walked away, prob. and you would think the cartel guys would be at least as well fed as the colonia.
Myself, I wouldn't have left Abigail's estate. You have to clear out anywhere you go.

While I knew they wouldn't reveal the exact source of the infection I had hoped this show would have lingered in it's spread better. It's what they said it was for but it seems they didn't know how to stay there and keep it exciting. Always been a peeve that it shows it spread worldwide as fast as a flu, yet you had to be bitten.
The original set it up that everyone is infected (like a flu). They could have explained a lot by making the spread take place that way, then as everyone dies from starvation, infections, etc. they turn.
I also wanted to see why the military fell as fast as the general population. Bases are pretty secure.

Oh well, that's what all the copy cats are for I reckon. Some zombie show needs to throw enough money at Cormac McCarthy to write for them. I think it was Mel brooks who said "Hollywood has 1000's of great actors but only 5 good writers".

 

Travis probably left Chris to be with his new friends. And Travis will go to find Madison. I hope this is the last time we see Chris.
