    I wish boss... You still haven't paid me for the prototype GSM bed cage like you promised... I had to put Katie on the corner again just to pay my electric bill!     Current status: getting 2nd front end alignment in a week following lift. It was fine for 2 days, now it's got a hard pull to the right. I'm thinking maybe the suspension settling out?

    Is there any reason to not do a shackle flip kit?
    Thinking about putting the OME add a leaf in my dakkars, removing the bigger overload leaf, and doing shackle flip.

    Goal is to smooth out the ride and maintain height. It sits perfectly level now but gets a bit rough sometimes hitting overloads since putting on the shell.

    Alternative might just be a new leaf pack like allpro that doesn't have the overloads.

    Didn't know a shackle flip messed with load...
    So to maintain load capacity, maintain lift height, and smooth out the ride, going to a different leaf pack that doesn't use overloads is really the only option?

    Why don't you want overloads if maintaining load capacity is important?

    I would put the Dakar AAL in and get some more forgiving bumps.

    Shackle flip definitely reduces load capacity. Changes the amount of leverage on your spring as it loads/unloads through suspension travel. The more it squats the more leverage that it has to squat more. If you do it, play with the angle and length of your shackle to get your ride height, quality bump stops required.
