Anybody near College Station mind helping with a lift install?

I'm on a budget so I'm doing spacers for now. I just finished ordering a lift kit, wheels and tires. Put a nice dent in my wallet.

awesome, do you want to get together & install the lift or wait for the meet? Between the 2 choices, I would say get the MTR's, but I have to agree with Andy, the BFG KM2's are really sweet.

 

bfg km2 the all terrains are alright but if you are really gonna go wheelin you will feel their limitations. I have had a set lol

 

Sure I got time, not this weekend though, I already have a project

I'm not 100% but I don't think that you really need a spring compressor to install spacers, we bassically just remove the strut as an assemblly & then bolt the spacer to the top plate & reinstall. No need to mess with the nut in the center of the coil over.

Saturday, I am supposed to be there at 2 pm.

I guess I am going install those air bags on friday night, I am thinking between the 4runner & trailer I'm looking at about 6K pounds. Can't belive that I haven't gotten around to that yet, but I will be in the garage tommorow night if you arn't busy.

I really like the 1st Gen's! I was thinking about buying one for Bianca to play in the mud with.. too small though with the kids in the back, they are getting too damn big.

 

OK than, If it came with long studs than I guess we will need the spring compressor.....

You can rent one from Napa in CS for just a refundable deposite. You bassically have to buy it from them & when you bring it back they give you a full refund. It cost about a $100.

I have been following this thread for a week or so.

I have an 09 Tacoma 4x4 that I need lifted. I am in Austin. I have the ebach springs and 5100's, top plate and all washers/bolts. Can I join????

I was thinking of just building up the whole set then just doing the swap.

Unless someone can recommend a shop in Austin that can do this for me?

 

Sure man, come on & join us. If you wanted to go ahead & have them assembled at your local firestone that would make the install go much quicker, but I'm sure we could handle it either way. Hope you can make it.

I think that we really might be setting a record for the most lifts installed in one day. If anyone has a nice camera that could take a panaramic picture, we should try to get a couple good shoots of all of these Tacos together & see if we cam make the banner again.
