Has anyone taken apart their headlights yet?

Thank you for your response. You answered my questions perfectly. Are there different sized bulbs, and which would I need?i am also confused as to whether the projection light is one unit, or if there is a lens that goes over a bulb that is separate and can be replaced. I have not yet opened my lights up, and I want to make sure I have the right quality of bulbs and a new lens if that is a thing. Thank you!

 

The projector is its own thing. A standard bulbs goes into a standard slot behind it like a regular light. I don't know the bulb size off the top of my head, but there's countless brands. I'm by no means a light buff.
