The local Ram dealership has a 2016 4x4 offroad dclb with the moonroof with only 1090 miles listed for only $34,433 and they have had it for almost 3 months. I would say you got a fair offer.

You'd be surprised how few people walk into the Ram dealer and ask for a Tacoma.

Some are into that type of perversion, but I am not having any part of that.

I wouldn't even buy a jeep from a jeep dealer.

HD/super duty type trucks are the only full size trucks to buy. All 1/2 tons suck anymore

    Seems reasonable, actually.

My 1/2 ton Chevy blew it's tranny at 130k and 4 bad fuel pumps (needing 8 fuel pump replacements..) in that same mileage. My woman's Chevy SUV has been decent at 170k without major mechanical issues, but electrical gremlins are destroying my anus in short order.

Both 2500HD Duramax trucks were excellent.

Ford diesel F550 SuperCrew Lariat was a sweet rig until it had serious issues after 30k miles.

I honestly love the Tundra Limited Crewmax, but the MPGs are pretty dismal. GM makes a beautiful truck, but can't shake from my head that they make a nice lease truck better than they make a nice own truck. Seems like after 3 years they start to age pretty quickly.

There you have it OP - take your super sweet Taco over to the Jeep dealer and ask about a trade for a Wrangler, then test drive the Wrangler over to the Ferd dealership and ask what they'd give you for trade-in on the Wrangler.

A couple grand is an easier pill to swallow than having to deal with a truck you hate every single day.

Go get rid of that thing and get something you like. I'm not gonna pretend a few grand is pocket change, but by trading it you're losing a few, by keeping it you're losing a few dozen.

It's a year old now. Should have sold it 2 months ago. But I hope you can get what you want and be happy. Best wishes in your pursuit of happiness.

what did you pay for it? If you think that's a shocker....I hope you never ever have to trade the FORD in.

I agree the Tacoma needs a bit of work to be perfect, but I can not argue the resale value one bit.
