rainy all week here and highs mid-high 80's. don't think I saw any 90's.

 

well that's scary but i guess bound to happen sooner or later

 

i think we've had 1 nasty thunderstorm and that's it for rain for like the last 3 weeks

 

Got rain from Hermine - brought down lots of little branches, twigs and leaves and a few big trees around town. Then no rain until today. Just lots of heat and humidity. Went outside with the girls last night and was sweating just wandering around the yard

 

it's been a hot humid summer but for those of us that live in this region that's typical. i'd rather the heat than the cold

 

It's coming so get your long undies out and washed. Just in time for you to return to work too.

 

Not me!! I can put a sweater on and take it off when I warm up working. Can't take anything off, when only wearing a t shirt and shorts

 

i always loved fall and winter but working at this stupid airport has ruined that among other things

 

Lol lol twice today I've had to bite my tounge and drawn blood. Sometimes the openings people give are just SO tempting.

 

christie and i were talking more the other day about maybe moving to the outerbanks. get a little further south it's not much but perhaps just enough

 

and i'm glad you didn't write this while greg was still awake

 

I understand. Working outside is getting more and more difficult as time goes on. Working outside makes it hard to want to go out to play too which really upsets(most polite thing I can come up with) to no end.

 

let it roll give them hell especially if it's greg

we still live in a beautiful part of the world in the fall when all our green mountains are set a blaze with the changing leaves

 

sue is a tuff lady as long as comments are not crude which i'm sure it wouldn't be it's all good

 

I'll bet. You have a lot of deciduous trees back your way right?

 

yes sir living in the foothills of the blue ridge it's a pretty place rolling green fields and beautiful green muntains. the fall leaf change is really something. alot of work as my house is surrounded by trees but nonetheless very pretty

 

That's cool. Only seen pictures of it. Out here with the evergreens we don't really get it in abundance. Small pockets is all.

 

you may not have the full color change but your corner of the world has it's own beauties. i've never had the privlege of visiting where you live but as you have seen pictures
