    Are you in limp mode?

That's usually caused by AIP issues. Usually bad air injection valves. Keep us posted.

Normal driving is fine, pulling a light trailer could only go 40mph. Very weird.

    Relax.

Some don't get worked up when that CEL comes on.

I will admit, I lose my mind when I get a check engine light.

Yeah I can read, and you told us about this on Thursday...I'm not worked up, but when someone comes on here to solve an issue and then doesn't go and do the 1 thing needed to solve the issue, its annoying.

My mother's 4R was pulling a bunch of codes related to this. We got the bypass off ebay for $65. Took about 10 minutes to install. Hers didn't fix all of it but cleared 90 percent of the codes and didn't throw it into limp mode after that. I don't know how they are working out for the tacos

Mine did the same and same codes.

Got it fixed for free from toyota.
They also did a few other fixes.

Was told the the total bill would have been 5k

Told them come into this world with out a toyota and that is fact I do not need one.

Told then I would rather burn it to the ground in their parking lot then to pay them that....

After a day toyota and the dealer said all fixed free of charge.

    Too few to list.
These codes seems to be mostly appearing on 2012's specifically but affects 12-15's. Read this thread --> https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/secondary-air-injection-switching-valve.381997/
What's your mileage? Expect about $1k fix if you buy the parts and replace on your own. It's most likely just the valves but the pump can go out as well and it will be an issue again sooner or later.

Then file a complaint below just to get your VIN on there. I'm sure if there were enough complaints, Toyota will do a "Extended Warranty Campaing" eventually.

When they verify it themselves they are looking to see if they will cover the cost. If they do great if not it will be the last Toyota I buy. Getting it fixed later this week by them. I will keep you updated

Make sure you call Toyota and open a case file.
That is the big thing on getting them to cover it.

Tell them what happened and you are not happy also as you stated you will not buy another if you need to pay.

It is a big problem and they know it.
Matter of time they will cover the same as the tundra.

Another update. I started my truck tonight and the CEL and Track off light are both off like it fixed itself. Only thing I know I did was when I parked tonight I turned the truck off when it was still in drive, went to take the key out and was like crap I did it again, threw it in park took out the key and left. Started it up like 3 hours later and all seems fine. See how it is tomorrow, still going to take it to the dealership but maybe it's fixed it self?

Sounds like your valves are starting to go bad and haven't failed completely yet. Sad to see yet another tacoma owner suffering those failure without much support from toyota regarding the issue.
