Solid kit. I was looking along those lines until I decided to just drop all my money in to Kings. Which is why I reccomend you delete your TW account unless you enjoy spending all your money. Just ask @eccracer104 he knows what I just went through.

But there's plenty of guys on here that will help you install everything! We've got a mod day in October that @eccracer104 and @goblue82 and all the others who will be up there will be helping me install my Kings! Great group of guys and girls here, although they will convince you to spend all of your money.

Solid, good to know. To be honest I'm fairly young and recently married. Just getting the truck was a big deal. I plant to save up for some suspension now and maybe a flow master 50 if I want to bro out (hahaha). But I don't think I'll be doing any wheeling that will make me need something as high end as kings in my little 2wd four banger.

Total bummer because I wanted to buy I a bed rack and a pop up tent in the next few months. Those will have to wait now.

Still think that I couldn't have found a more solid truck though for the price. Really love the thing and the cheap lift really isn't all that bad since I'm just DDing it.

    I like it.

The gold on my car is rattle can. The thin paint is the only thing that works with rims that have sharp machined edges. Powder or dip changes the look completely to a more smooth rounded shape.

If you're not gonna do much wheeling then you'll definitely be good to go with that setup. I was intent on going that route, but then I realized I knew I'd want an upgrade in the future so I figured I'd drop the money on it now while I still can. I also like to go fast, so that's another reason I went the Kings route.

Bed rack and a tent though are definitely nice to have! I'll probably end up that route in a few years, for now I've got a regular bed tent and a classic ground tent. Looking in to a softtopper though to make things even easier for camping trips!

Makes sense. Do you think that's probably the best all round kit for what I'm looking to do? Honestly I'm trying to go for the best bang for my buck. The soft toppers are pretty cool. I'm wondering if I should get one or not over the tent but I have a short bed so it's probably too hard to sleep in if there is two people in the back.

I'm honestly not the best person to ask if tht's the best kit, but from what others are saying, I'd say yes. I'm sure the others can/will pitch in. It all comes down to personal preference though.
If you're tall the shortbed might be an issue, I know I wouldn't fit as I'm 6'5, but that's why I went with the long bed. Got plenty of room, as long as I sleep at a bit of an angle. I really like the RTTs though and definitely will be on my list of things to do way down the line.

For the UCAs do a bit of searching for what will best suit your needs. Lots of people selling them second hand here on the forum for a great deal. People sell their lifts frequently as well. Always good to keep an eye on the for sale section to snag a great deal, that's how I scored some of my suspension.

Face lift? What kind of facelift? :spy: I may be planning one as well
 "Whats a good stock sized replacement tire?" "Let's lift it and fit a bigger tire!" "How are these 5100s" "F*$K IT KINGS!" Pretty much how it all went down haha

And yes, @Tacotruck7 , lot's of helping hands available to you here. We typically operate on food and beer :sawzall:

    Congratulations on getting married!
Yes, it's a solid kit. Will yeild a much more comfortable ride on the road and far superior to what you have for when you do go offroad. People beat on those 5100s and they hold up really well. I had a set on mine which I put through their paces and they held up great for ~100k miles.

Soft toppers are where it's at! It is a little uncomfortable in a short bed though. My girlfriends truck is a short bed and has a soft topper, she cut a foam mattress pad to fit the shape of the bed and we sleep in it at an angle. It's actually pretty cozy in there and stays really warm. We're not tall people though haha
