I think there was some negative comments in the SAS thread.

4 wheel underground seems to be the way to go for the SAS kits.

And wheel travel needs to be compared Apple to Apple.

I'm honestly surprised it doesn't offer more too. Me and @JeepAndrew briefly discussed leaf packs this weekend but then we got distracted by the badass mine we were in. I'd never go full size. I think the most I'd want to widen out is like 2"/ side. Throw 35×12.5 on that and I'm 5" wider overall.

I've never seen it to be honest. 3 link is a good way to go, but not simple in the least, hence my suggestion to run leaf springs. And I'm getting close to 24" full travel up front from stuffed to full droop. I'm almost in need of limiting straps due to my front driveshaft angle..

    ;)

What's the axle width on the 2nd gens? I wonder if JK axles are close in width...

He's referring to some trails we've done recently where my 68" width barely fit on a sketchy mining shelf road. A wide long-travel would have went over the side and down into the canyon.

Actually I've always been of that opinion. With as long as my truck is, if I get much wider there's alot of places I wouldn't fit. If I was going to go to full-size axels then I might as well have just started with a full-size truck. I like having a narrower track width.
And yes I believe the track width of our rigs is very similar

The interwebs say 61"-63" on the front, but I'd have to measure mine to be exact because aftermarket suspension and wheels. I may be closer to 65"

If that's the case then you could swap in a Jk front axle.

Is Tundra too big to go back way in? Lasthe year I remember that the taco had to weave to miss all the trees.

No, you're good bro. We had two tundras and a couple other full size trucks last year.

Dana 60 is overkill for a 1/2 ton truck on 33s/35s. My jeep weighs more than most 2nd gens and I'm running 35s on a Dana 44/30 with lockers.
