Thanks for the referrals, but I dont mess with the Icons because some use odd sized seals and some as well have a proprietary nitrogen fill plug that uses a fill needle that I dont have..sorry!!

I can do just about everything else under the sun though, lol

Anyone know where I can go shooting outdoors now that BLM is closed for fire season? Heard a couple places in desert and maybe a few spots in Laguna? Not trying to get a ticket or my gun confiscated just an uncle of mine who hasnt shot since the marines in the 70's is coming to down in time for my ar15 to be finished. If anyone wouldnt mind helping me out with a spot you wont have to worry about me burning it out or leaving it dirty.

    Hey Other Rick,
I ride my dualsport out at Otay Mountain truck trail and people shoot out there all the time. There's also South Bay Rod and gun club close by.

Its official, I feel the seasons changing, time for more desert! I might be putting on a little meetup in Ocotillo Wells in Oct/Nov, last time I did that was several years and had quite a few guys come out, should be a lot of fun, I will keep ya guys posted on when it is so we can go out and play.

And we can shoot out there on the S.side of the railroad tracks, there are a few spots with a really long standoff range for guys with big bore rifles BTW.

    Hey everyone!
Been on the TW for a while now but have always just stuck to the 3rd Gen part of the forum and never explored outside... So glad I did since I found this thread!

Living in Santee right now but I have strong ties to Baja since I lived down there for 12 years, anyone got Baja stories?!:D

Just wanted to say hello and look forward to meeting some of you!

Welcome to our little neck of the Forum! Yes Baja is an amazing place, I have raced in the Baja 500 and the 1000 on a dirtbike.
And if you need any sort of work done let me know, I can save you some money, the 3rd gens have has some trucks leave with low transmission fluid, I have checked about 10 of them with 2 being low.

Plus there are lost of meets and trail runs as well.

Very awesome dude! I have tons of friends that race the baja's. Anywhere from class 21 and 22 and sportsman to class 8, 12, 16, 11, etc etc! I race dirt bikes as well but haven't actually done a Baja yet

Good to know, I've actually wanted to get that checked out just to make sure mines ok.

For the lack of being a welder but wanting a customer rear bumper.. would it be sane of me to cut the bumper pieces myself (basically rectangle/round tubing), temporarily "weld" the pieces in position with some steel putty, and then take it to someone to get it welded in place?
