I get back from my honeymoon on the 18th, and looking at my work schedule, I should be able to make a run the first weekend of October if anyone is interested.

For those who ran Pearl Pass does it look promising for fall colors?

Do people post to Bush Ducks when passes close?

Thanks, I have run it twice since then as well, top notch trail. This weekend should be good for the leaves, but next weekend probably better if the weather holds off.

I'm looking at some gold aspens up on the mountain from my desk at work right now. I'm afraid the weekend of the 24th and 25th might be past prime.

From my experience they tend to turn starting in the North to South.

Your'e a lot further north though and they change sooner. 2013 trip was on the 30th, 2014 on the 20th, next weekend will split the difference.

I recalled seeing a map last week, went looking for it, and found three of them. Probably all from news channels, and of course it's not like they're 'certain' or anything but:

yea you're on a different schedule than places further south...i took the peak to peak up to caribou creek then back down gold hill and they were just starting...few patches here and there, but a majority still just starting to change...and that wasn't until i got north of Nederland that we started to see change really...

should be getting good this weekend and spread south from there...should be some fun weekends ahead :)

probably heading back up on sunday somewhere back north where i was...maybe switzerland trail and more along the peak to peak

Stay away from 285 and Kenosha Pass. That highway is stupid slow this time of year.

Just did Pearl Pass. Only went to the last "parking lot" just before the top on the crested butte side. Looks to be passable with no snow. It did snow a bit while I was up there around 2:30. Will post pics when I get home.

Have them penciled in anything yet for Rock Therapy 2017? I heard something about it moving to fall.
