From what I understand it all comes down to the competency of the shop. I have heard some take around 5-10 hours, while others do it in 4-5 hours. Just depends on if they have done it before. I doubt many have done a relocation with a spring under conversion so I would guess atleast 5-8 hours hopefully. I hope the shop wouldn't have 20 hours worth as I can only imagine the price on that.

I would just try to get a hard quote before hand. Because I could easily see a very competent shop having at least that in it for the full setup. Sua conversion and relocate.

I don't think I would even attempt that job on anyone else's truck because of the amount of time required and my now lack of available time for side work.

I agree I def plan to see what the ceiling of payment could be. We will see if they have a max amount of hours on something like this.

If you don't mind me asking, why sua and pretty much full lt on the rear? Are you building the front to match?

This is actually a mid travel SUA as it will compliment for when I go 2+ LT in the front down the road. If I wasnt going LT in the front then I wouldnt of went with SUA.

Well why not bed cage it and the do a shackle flip with the spring under so you can run some 16" shocks? I would think that would only be a touch more work for drastically more results. :notsure:

As weird as it sounds, I feel more comfortable going this route at the moment. Also the fact that I got these shocks already I figured why not go this route instead of having to glass the rear, get bigger shocks, different SUA...yada yada yada. If I ever get to the west coast Im sure one day I will probably do it.

The exact 2.0 King Smoothie Remote Resis that are made for the BAMF kit. Part of the reason why I decided to commit to this route as I already had the shocks and 2.5s were a little bit more.

Won't going sua over extend those? I would think that would yield way more than 12".

Coot, if your gonna go all the way to Winchester, may want to call Iron Pig down in Fredericksburg. They mostly do fj's but all they do is Toyota work.
