I bought this truck just last Friday. There is a small red push button that toggles on and off. Sometime it will illuminate when pushed in, sometime it will not.

With the engine running, I pushed the button several times. The horn honked repeatedly. I wonder if this is connected to an anti-theft device. Before I open the dash up to investigate, does anyone recognize this?

It's part of an after-market alarm system. Mostly used for valet parking.

I found the original window sticker. Gulf States Toyota installed a S6 Premium Security System, but I don't think this button would be part of that...

I have the same button. It's for the security system. Took me a while to figure it out. When it's activated it makes the alarm super sensitive. I could literally bump a tire on my truck and it will honk at me.

Lies! No man has truly ever located it. I was going to put it on a milk carton, but I've never found it so I had no idea if I had the correct stock image.

Sure it is. Part of the rip off package.

I recommend removing the entire system before it shuts the truck down for good.

Wire that light so it comes on when the truck is off, and it will deter low IQ snatch and grab thieves.
