Look what I found in my stock tire. The local tire place wouldn't repair it due to damage to the sidewall. I'm thinking about going to costco tomorrow to buy some 265/75/16 K02's

I run PSS on my G8. Still spins like a mofo. But they are good tires otherwise.

I hate the stock tires. Just punctured one while driving a farm access road in AZ. Not in the position to order the KO2s right now, but I really don't have any faith in the tires anymore. Was very light duty off road.

I've beat the hell out of the stockers I'm in AZ and driving over cactus, jagged rocks, nasty thorn brush...not one issue 15k miles in. I keep hoping they'll bust so I have an excuse to go buy new tires but nope

A thorny bush hit my sidewall going less than 5mph. I couldn't believe it. I only took this one picture, but you can see the gash towards the upper right.image.jpg

It was through the lightening bolt. I'm starting to wonder if it's a flaw in the tire. I watched a great review someone posted here where there was a gash through the Kevlar logo. Very similar to mine.

Have 15k miles on mine. Drove from Miami to Kodiak Alaska. Off road weekly. No punctures, decent grip, works for now. I will upgrade when needed

Work great off road for me. I think folks just want an excuse to buy something more aggressive looking.

I had a puncture on a fairly tame forest service road on my trip to Montana last week. Punched a hole right in my tread. Will just be getting the tire fixed and waiting until I lift to switch to some KO2s when I can fit a larger size. I tend to find freak ways of putting holes in tires with mundane things though... My crowning achievement was putting a rounded piece of driveway gravel through the tread of my 315/70R17 duratracs when I had my jeep... :annoyed:

Probably not statistically meaningful, but I have 24K miles on mine and had one flat, rock cut in the tread, at about 15K. Small hole, and patchable. The first flat I've had decades, other than a cut sidewall (BFG MT) on the Rubicon Trail. Come to think of it, my last on-road flat was also an OEM Goodyear on a Toyota, the only other Goodyears I've owned.
