NorCal: South-East Bay Mod Day #2 - 9/17/16

Got my Tacoma early this year and TW has been amazing on the help and support on doing the mods I've done so far so stoked that it is looking like I'll be able to make it to this my first mod day.

I got a Baja Designs S8 light bar that's waiting on a Pelfrey bumper to be installed in. It has an amber backlight feature. Hoping someone can talk me through how to tap into my parking lights to create a lead wire that I can connect to when I get the bumper next month. (Already have fuse pannel/relays/switches wired up up) @Iggy. gladly pay for materials or is there something I need to buy & bring that you don't have?

If all goes as planned (no flight delay) I'll be bringing a mini keg of beer direct from Germany.

 

Hey Iggy, I would certainly appreciate the help with installing a glovebox light mod. And I would of course cover the cost. What time do you think you'll be there on Saturday?

If you can run all the cables that will save a bunch of time. Tapping in should be easy. I'll research where the easiest place to tap into is. I don't like splicing into factory wires unless I have to.

I'm hoping first thing. I want you guys to be able to use the spring compressor as long as possible.

I can help out with anything man! I just don't have switches but have practically everything else.

I dont know if I said already but Ill be bringing a case of water at the veryleast and maybe some chips. I remember last mod day there was a surplus of beer but not alot of water, not that thats a bad thing or anything

 

I'll be packing my small cooler full of some beers and assorted alcoholic beverages, and I also always grab a big pack of Smart waters.

And I wont be doing any mods. I trashed my rig, it has some major repairs that a mod day can't cure.

Unless someone has a reinforced new drive shaft they want to sell me? Then I can fix my beat to hell current as a spare
