Also coil over spring for the taco lean has been ordered. Fucking 300lbs spring rate and an extra 2 inches is what was calculated for it so hopefully with the alcans i should have a level truck again. Its weird that it varies, yesterday measuring it i was at 1.5 inches diffrence, today in the same spot in the drive way it measured 3.25 inches diffrence.

From how I read it, it seemed you weren't into that option. Just curious, the only reason I did it was because my damn HIDs quit out on me. Damn PO did a bunch of shit to it

I mean i have built my whole truck so im not opposed to doing a builder kit. Just have not found one that looks good. Those are hid reflectors in that and hids. They put out quite a bit of light and if its not enough then i can flip on the two duallys and if thats not enough then the two 6inch bars in the bumper and if thats not enough then the 40" on the roof.....

I have a little lighting addiction.

I think I might speak for Jake as well in this saying that quite frankly I don't want to peel my headlights apart again to do a retrofit.

Ah I forgot you light up the night like a Christmas tree haha. Well carry on then. I too understand what Gramps (pardon my rudeness as the new guy if it's not acceptable to call you that  ) ripping apart the headlights was a PITA, but I'd rather have done it right then thrown another shitty HID kit in there

All good Josh. I am Gramps afterall. Honestly I run a DDM Tuning HID KIT with reflectors like Jake and can not complain at all. It's a 55w system with 5500k bulbs. Last kit I got from them lasted me 3yrs. and this kit only cost me $50.

Yah ive only had the little silver box go out on the first set but that has been it. One side does look warmer then the other when i shine on the garage but never have noticed it driving.

Youre right. Expensive lights are not really that worth it. Unless its a baja light it does not really do any noticable good for the extra money.

No, no I was referring to that picture of you shooting. You look NOTHING like the Transporter. ;)

I swear by Baja Designs lights. Someday I will replace all of my light with BD. :dreams:

Sweet didn't want to just jump straight into the CO crew, gotta earn my spot for when I eventually move out there.

That's what I had and it crapped out then I bought a part that I thought would fix it and didn't , it was good kit for the time I had it
