What's up people, I'm new to this site and was looking for some information on headlights. My 2011 Tacoma needs some black headlights. Any suggestions on some good ones?

Simple, take the bulbs out, smash them, re-install.

Welcome to TW!! You've got two options as far as I see it. You can to the BHLM (black headlight mod) where you paint certain parts of the inside of the headlight black.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/how-to-black-head-light-mod.65226/

If you want even the reflector bowel black, you'll need retrofit headlights. It's where projector lenses are retrofitted into the stock housings.

    blacked out lights at night.

Kidding, I know there are some guys on here throw they're headlights in ovens, split them open, modify and glue back. You can black them out or add projector / led kits in the process.

    just search for headlight mods

Those bottom black lights are sick. That's what I'm looking for. So I'll need some retrofit ones then? Anyone on here do that? What's a rough price for some of those? Those look so sick

Ouch. That's outta my budget. How about those spyder halos? Or some other halos like those? Haven't heard much about em.

Poor quality projectors. We get a discount with @TRSAndrew on the retrofit source on the mini d2s kit which is a great projector. It's not a bad mod with the write ups on here it's just time consuming and I definitley reccomend doing it on a new seperate set than the ones on your truck.
I built these first try and was in less than $500 not including new headlights

Cheap projectors usually have terrible light output. Worse than stock. I would suggest buying quality once like the referenced TRS. The BHLM is very cheap and will get you a good portion of the way there if you don't mind doing a little work.

Not trying to spend $500. But I guess u do get what u pay for. Don't really want to do my headlights myself. Not sure what to do. Mine are cracking but I just saw someone say there was a recall on Tacoma headlights. . .

    What is stock?
DO NOT GO TO PRO TUNING LAB

I got my headlights off them with a warranty and they got water in them and refuse to send me a new pair unless I pay outright for the new pair then will get a refund. Terrible customer service and products look at the Google reviews I wish I did first
