2016 Tacoma running boards

I took the factory running boards off of my 2016 Tacoma access cab and I am trying to sell them, so I posted them on Craigslist. Someone called and was interested in them but they have a double cab. Does anyone know if the running boards I took off of my access cab will fit a double cab truck?

They won't. They are different lengths.

 

Extended cab and access cab are the same thing.

 

My bad, I meant four door.

 

In that case, yes they should fit.

 

So it should fit any 16 Tacoma?

 

No you have to cut the passenger access cab one in half, then weld a half portion to the driver's side. That way you have a full running board for the drivers side and 1/2 a one for the passenger side. That's what the 3rd Gen owners call a 1 1/2 'er and it's quite popular.
