squeaking sound

I just got my first oil change buy toyota last week and ever seance then their is a squeaking sound comeing from the pasanger side of my engine it almost sound like the fan belt pull would make! I can only hear it when Ideling and goes away when I excel rate any body else have this noise or an idea of what it might be?

 

Might be a cab mount bushing. I think I have one going bad. It intermittently squeaks, especially in high heat. Gonna get it checked out soon. Some others have had body cab mount bushings replaced for this issue.

 

Mine starts makeing the sound as soon as I crank it up but I can only hear it if the windows are down and the radio is not on I wouldn't mind toyota looking at it but the just say we don't hear anything but I'll look in to them mounts

Damn, how does he have zero scratches on his dash display cover? Maybe it's because he didn't take off all the stickers inside.

 

I have this same sound. I had a tech listen to it a couple of days ago. He told me it is a normal sound. He said it is a noise caused during the injector cleaning cycle. He said Toyota put out an info bulletin about it.

 

Took my truck in for this as mine has progressively gotten worse (louder). I was told this is a normal sound from the high pressure fuel pump. I am trying to get options from Toyota for a fix.

From the service notes:
"CONFIRMED THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN. THERE IS AN INHERENT HIGH PITCHED NOISE COMING FROM THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP LOCATED NEAR THE PASSENGER SIDE FIRE WALL. CONFIRMED WITH THE SHOP FOREMAN THAT THIS IS A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THIS FUEL PUMP."

 

I read the comment on that video and someone said that they had the same problem and they asked if they used shell gass and something to that affect and said that this could cause the problem and I have used she'll gass the past two time I've filled up and I don't ever rember hearing the knoise befor I put shell gass in my truck so the next time I feel up I'll get what I was useing befor to see if it's still makeing the same knoise.. And I don't always believe what toyota says they just probely don't feel like dealing with it.

 

Get the high pressure fuel pump changed out. End of story...

 

Do you know we're it located on the truck

 

Like the intake manifold section. Have the dealership change it out, warranty stuff. Took me 2 different dealers to get one to find the problem and order the part

 

Also. If the pump is making the noise when you pull up to the dealer, leave the truck running so they can hear it.
