Man, private matches are what destiny needed, so fun

 

Lol totally just smashed a trash talker in 1v1 he thought he had skills to help ran in to my double shotty invis hunter combo hahaha

 

I love the fully decked out Hunter, had 28 kills during one match in 6v6 tonight between melee and invisible shotgun ambushes. Averaging between 15-18...

 

It was 27-4 lol he started calling me a hacker lag switcher head glitcher fucking hilarious

Oh... One other thing in case you didn't know. There are ghosts hidden in the maps so it allows you to pick up a few extra ghosts you didn't have.

In private matches your K/D is not recorded so it allows you to go in with friends and try out different weapons that you wouldn't normally use (in my case fusion rifles since I suck with them). We are going in with our trials team tonight and making up callouts for when trials is active again.

I will say that 6v6 elimination is fun as hell. I was the last man standing on our team and got lucky and made a clutch move to revive one on our team and we came back and won against 6.

 

EDIT: I see that it is a problem and bungie are "looking" into it. It will suck balls if this isn't fixed before ROI is released. Why would bungie fix it though? They have my money.

Xbox One. Is anybody noticing fuzz on screen after the update? I loaded another game and the fuzz is not there which makes me think it is Destiny itself.

Went in solo and collected each ghost from each crucible map. Easy. 27 ghosts in all

 

Should have bought a PS4 We get all the new stuff a year before Xbox 1

Oh wait... You guys got early access to The Division lol though I wouldn't call that a good trade off since The Division sucks balls.

 

I like playing the Division. I didn't follow it's development or anything I just like running around a city in peril haha!

 

This is my "subjective" point of view on cross platform play. I bought the very first Xbox when it was released. I ended up going through 3 of them during the lifespan of the first generation of that console. Same thing with the 360. Bought it on launch day and ended up going through 3 of those also. I'm not knocking Xbox by any means since I put thousands of hours into each console so I got my monies worth out of each of them. Things break and the more you use them the more likely they will eventually go out.

I bought a PS3 and never had one issue with it ever but that's neither here nor there.

I was lucky and got a PS4 on launch day (which I still have) and bought another to keep up at work when I'm on duty at the Fire Station. I also bought a Xbox 1 on launch day with the hopes that Titanfall would be a great game. It turned out to be Titanfail. I have seriously considered buying the Xbox slim due to Halo but just don't really see the need in it since most of my free time will be spent in Destiny once RoI comes out.

What I have noticed throughout the entire time I owned any iteration of a Xbox is the player base "seem" to be younger players that tend to rage, talk shit (which I do quite often), but most importantly are just not as fun IMO to play with. I'm not trying to lump a entire player base into one group but with the PS4 it "seems" that the people that buy that platform are slightly more mature. Sure there are the occasional dicks but they are few and far between. The group we have on PS4 is one of the best groups I've played with and we have fun every single time I log in. Xbox wasn't so much the case. Add to the fact that "most" of the games are released on both consoles I'll go with the one that is more powerful. And with the new PS4 coming out in a month or so I'll be buying that one also. JMO

 

Well part of that is my problem. I followed that game for over 3 years and had high expectations for it. It isn't REMOTELY close to what we were promised and the gameplay sucks. When I shoot a dude running at me with a bat and a hoodie and it takes damn near a entire clip to take him down? Fuck that shit. They have completely destroyed the DZ (which used to be fun).

Same thing happened with No Mans Sky. I've looked forward to that game for 2 years and it is absolutely nothing that was promised. Your goal is to make it to the center of the galaxy. Well I'll give you a little spoiler. Once you make it to the center of the galaxy... NOT A FUCKING THING HAPPENS. You start over on a new galaxy and do the exact same shit once again. FUCK THAT SHIT. I actually took the game back to Gamestop and they gave me a full refund no matter how many hours I had invested. They were giving full refunds to everyone that wanted to turn the game back in. That's what you get when you lie to the public about what your game has and in reality it doesn't have any of those features.

 

I agree. It would be fun to have a expanded player base. As far as the bluray player in the PS4... I don't care. I've got a dedicated home theater so that is where i watch my movies. I play on a ultra wide 32" 4k monitor that sits right in front of me and it takes up my entire field of vision. I'll keep that.

 

I agree and see where you're coming from. It does take for damn ever to drop a thug when I know good and damn well I shot him 15 times in the head! I would have taken that No Mans Sky back too. That crap would piss me off!

 

Sony fucked up and true crossplatform gaming is upon us. MS is making all the right decisions and Sony still lives in the proprietary world of the 90s.

It wont last in these days. Imagine if MS can team up with or just purchase Steam?

I will agree, 1st gen Xbox couldn't handle the nonstop sessions of gaming. They burned up but every one of mine was covered until the xtended warranty was up.
Maybe im a bit more forgiving because im a Sys Admin of 16 years and ive been deep in electronics my whole life.
The PC gamers still have the most expensive route. Just one new GPU will be the cost of 2 xbox ones, but wait you can SLI and have 2! Lets add in some SSDs, RAM, sound card, LCDs... Should I keep going? Consoles take the win on cost effectiveness.

 

Sony will be around cross platform play or not. The are outselling Xbox so I'm okay with that. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to start a console war here (which would be childish). But Sony knows what they are doing.

I'll put it this way. The Last of Us is arguably one of the best games ever created. It is a console seller. It is worth the price of the game and console just to experience that game. I don't see a game like that on Xbox. Not even close. The Last of Us brought out actually emotions that I've never felt playing a video game it's that good.
